Post repair kit and method of reparation
A post repair kit and method of reparation juxtaposition a lateral brace to a broken section and a new section of a fence post. The kit provides a stake with a proximal end that couples to a hammer mechanism having a reciprocating ram, and a tapered anchor end that drives into the ground. Interchangeable end adapter tools detachably attach to distal end of reciprocating ram. The end adapter tools may include a slotted bit that fits onto a flat stake, where the slot is open sided to allow the tool to fit over stakes that are bent at an edge. Other adapters may engage the stake at alternative points. The hammer mechanism drives the stake into the ground parallel to the post. Fasteners are driven into the stake to secure the stake against the post sections to provide lateral support to the mended junction.
METHOD, APPARATUS AND MATERIALS FOR PRESERVING WOOD
Methods and devices for protecting fence posts include placing or forming a sleeve around a lower portion of the post at ground level. The sleeve can be formed by applying a liquid plastic material around the post, and then thermally or chemically converting the liquid plastic material to a solid state, whereby the solid sleeve resists abrasion caused by the high-speed line of a string trimmer.
FENCE POST-PROTECTING SYSTEM
The fence post-protecting system is configured for use with a fence. The fence post-protecting system forms a sleeve structure that encloses the fence post below the ground. The fence post-protecting system protects the portion of the fence post that is below the ground. The fence post-protecting system is buried in the ground. The fence post inserts into the fence post-protecting system after the fence post-protecting system has been buried in the ground. The fence post-protecting system comprises a vertical shell, a pedestal disk, and an epoxy. The vertical shell attaches the pedestal disk. The fence post inserts into the fence post-protecting system through the vertical shell. The epoxy is poured into the vertical shell and the pedestal disk after the fence post is inserted into the fence post-protecting system. The epoxy forms a fluid impermeable coating around the fence post that protects the fence post.
Umbrella pole protecting device
An umbrella pole protecting device is a protective sleeve for the lower pole section of a pool-side umbrella. In other words, the device is a protective sleeve that covers the lower pole section of an umbrella to prevent potential contact of water. Further, the device includes a gasket for providing a water-proof seal between the sleeve and the pole section of the umbrella. Additionally, a water-resistant coating on the protective sleeve prevents the sleeve from being subjected to water damage. Thus, the present invention is a simple yet effective solution for preventing damage of lower pole section of a pool umbrella.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A MODULAR SIGNAGE SYSTEM
Various embodiments of a modular signage system having a modular post that enables placement and display of a plurality of signs. The modular post includes a tab chamber that engages one or more signs and is configured to engage a stake for embedding within a ground surface.
Post sleeve assembly
A post sleeve includes a reinforced concrete body preformed around a liner that defines a cavity extending longitudinally within the body, sized to receive a post. Standoff ribs run lengthwise within the cavity and extend inward from inner walls of the cavity. A post in the cavity is supported laterally by the standoff ribs. Drain channels between the ribs permit water to flow past the post and exit the cavity via a lower aperture. A drain tube is coupled to the lower aperture, and extends downward where it is covered with gravel at the bottom of a post hole. Concrete is poured around the post sleeve in the hole. The cavity is adaptable to receive posts of varying sizes, and at various depths. A collar closes a space between the post and the top of the cavity, permitting air circulation within the cavity while shedding water and substantially preventing insects from entering the cavity.
UNIVERSAL POLE FOUNDATION
A pre-fabricated load bearing structural assembly includes a foundation, a pole, and a cap. At least one of the foundation and the cap is unitary fabricated with at least one internal cellular and/or volumetric enclosure that transfers lateral and axial stresses away from the pole. A pole section disposed inside a foundation pole cavity is configured to rest on a corresponding support structure centrally disposed at the bottom of the cavity. The pole section exterior wall/s profile and dimensions in proximity to the pole cavity aperture is/are precisely defined. At least one cap, precisely fabricated, fills in the gap between the exterior wall/s of the pole and the inner wall/s of the pole cavity in proximity to the aperture opening of the pole cavity. The pole resting on the corresponding centrally disposed structure at the bottom of the pole cavity is plumbed by the precisely fabricated cap.
System, Method and Apparatus for Servicing Support Poles
An annulus excavation tool that would surround the decayed pole or pile and hydraulically excavate the annulus around the pole down to −2.0′ via a jetting manifold. A vacuum/tremie manifold is selectively coupled to a vacuum source to remove the soil and decayed material and creating a bonding surface for the mortar. The annulus tool would then be coupled to the mortar source and raised while a UHPC mortar would be tremied into the tool for delivery into the annulus. When the tool reaches ground level the rest of the pour is done using a Sonotube or other temporary form. This mortar encasement not only makes up for the structural deficiencies but also isolates the pole from both air and water which then kills the existing fungi and insects while also preventing any future invasion.
Pole shield
The present disclosure relates to a pole shield for extending around a pole structure. The pole shield comprises one or more than one sheet of composite material forming a hollow structure having an open first end and an opposed open second end. The sheet or sheets of composite material comprise from about 50% to about 80% by weight of a reinforcement impregnated with about 20% to about 50% of a polyurethane resin composition comprising a combination of a polyol component and a polyisocyanate component. Two or more pole shields may be stacked one on top of the other to form a pole shield structure which extends the height of protection of the pole structure. The pole shield can be used for protecting a pole structure from damage, such as from fire, rain, wind, sand, ice, pests, moisture or electrical. The pole shield may also be used to provide structural support to a pole structure.
MONOPOLE WITH REINFORCED BASE
A base assembly for a monopole includes: an elongate monopole with a lower end; a base plate with a hole, the lower end of the monopole inserted into the hole; and a reinforcing ring encircling the lower end of the monopole, the reinforcing ring having upper and lower ends. A first weld is present between the upper end of the reinforcing ring and the monopole; a second weld is present between the lower end of the reinforcing ring, the base plate, and the monopole, and a third weld is present between the lower end of the monopole and an outer surface of the hole.
