Construction equipment and methods
Construction equipment is provided that can include: a transport assembly operably supporting a platform, the platform having a leading edge opposing a rearward edge, the leading edge associated with a first direction of the transport assembly, and the rearward edge associated with a second direction of the transportation assembly; an operator cab above the platform and aligned closer to the leading edge than the rearward edge; an engine above the platform and aligned closer to the rearward edge than the leading edge; and a boom pivotably attached above the platform closer to the rearward edge than the leading edge, the boom being movable between a first position fully extended and a second position fully raised. Utility line pole placement and/or removal construction methods are provided that can include extending an extension assembly having a banana boom from a transport assembly to couple with a utility line pole.
Post sleeve positioning apparatus and related methods
A post sleeve installation system can include a plurality of post sleeve installation devices and at least one spacing beam or mechanism. The spacing beam or mechanism can include end portions that rotate about multiple independent axes and can be coupled to a pair of post sleeve installation devices to determine or control the relative locations and orientations between two post sleeves. The post sleeve installation system can be used to install post sleeves for posts for a fence, a rail or other structure supported by posts.
Systems for installing an elongated stake to a support post to provide sturdiness to the support post, and methods of use thereof
A system for providing sturdiness to a support post, that includes a stake that is configured to be inserted into the ground such that it is positioned parallel to a support post that is perpendicular to the ground and an insertion-assistance member that is configured to be removably attached to the stake. The insertion-assistance member includes a body, and a lip that extends in a direction that is perpendicular to the body such that a portion of the lip extends beyond the body in the direction that is perpendicular to the body. The lip is configured to receive force and then transmit the force to the stake to drive the stake into the ground. After driving the stake into the ground, the insertion-assistance member is configured to be removed from the stake and the stake is then secured to the support post to provide sturdiness to the support post.
FENCE POST SUPPORT AND METHOD AND BLANK FOR MAKING SAME
A structure for receiving and stabilizing a fence post or other similar support, as well as methods of making and using and a material blank for forming the same, are all described. The support has a flat planar member, into which a series of cooperating notches/slits, recesses, and perforations or frangible connections are provided. When assembled, the support is defined by a pair of axially aligned planar members, cooperatively fitted to form supported receiving recesses at a predetermined axial offset from the non-receiving edge of the support. A method of securing such supports for subsequent encasement in concrete is also contemplated.
MACHINE FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF POLES INTO THE GROUND
A machine comprises one movement assembly for the movement of the machine on the ground, at the point where at least one embedding area is located; one beating assembly adapted to drive at least one pole at the point where at least the embedding area is located; one gripping assembly of said pole adapted to pick the pole from a lying location; and at least one positioning assembly of the pole, provided with a housing seat, intended to accommodate the pole and movable in rotation around an axis of rotation, between a home position, in which it is arranged substantially horizontally and receives the pole from the gripping assembly, and a working position, in which it is arranged substantially vertically and positions the pole at the point where the beating assembly is located.
EASY DUMP BUCKET
An easy dump bucket for installation of post has a bucket that is essentially tubular with a bottom portion and an opening towards a front bottom portion of the bucket. A pair of door tracks are vertically and parallelly located along the sides of the opening. A door is slidably disposed within the tracks and rests against the bottom portion when closed. The door slides upward to an open position by moving it up. A handle is connected to the door and interacts with a latch that keeps the door open. The bottom portion of the bucket is angled to gravitationally direct fill material towards the opening. A lifting arm is attached to a top portion of the bucket to allow the bucket to be lifted into place during use. A guide portion is disposed along the top portion of the bucket on the same side as the opening.
METHOD FOR GENERATING A FREEROOM FOR A MAST ELEMENT
A method is for generating a freeroom for a mast element in a ground. The method includes the steps: a) drilling a first annular recess into the ground, the first recess having: a first diameter; and a first depth; b) drilling a second annular recess in the ground, the second recess being arranged to receive the mast element, and the second recess: having a diameter which is smaller than the first diameter; having a second depth which is larger than the first depth; surrounding a first core of the ground; and being surrounded by the first recess; wherein there is, defined between the first recess and the second recess, a second core which can be removed to generate a freeroom.
VERTICAL COLUMN
A vertical column has a column body extending between a first end and a second end. The column body includes a main body, a conical portion extending from the main body, and a tip portion extending from the conical portion. The vertical column includes a first helical structure extending around a portion of the main body and a second helical structure extending around a portion the tip portion.
Solid mast raiser system
A solid mast raiser system is disclosed herein. The solid mast raiser system may include a slot configured to house a mast. Further, the slot may be further configured to be inserted in to a predrilled bore in the ground. Further, a length of the slot may be matched to a depth of the predrilled bore in the ground. Further, the solid mast raiser system may include a stanchion configured to be attached to the slot. Further, the stanchion may be concentrically aligned with the slot. Further, the stanchion may rest upon a cable. Further, the solid mast raiser system may include a launcher coupled to the stanchion through a cable. Further, the launcher may be configured to raise and retract the stanchion. Further, the launcher may be configured to be affixed to the ground. Further, the launcher may comprise a first hole concentrically aligned with the slot.
Foundation for the support of a structure and method of installation
A method for installing a foundation in a ground for supporting a structure thereon, the method comprising the drilling of a main column borehole in the ground along an axis parallel to an axis of a force exerted by a load of the structure, inserting a main column into the main column borehole, drilling at least one anchor borehole at an angle away from the main column, inserting an anchor into each of the at least one anchor borehole, injecting a sealant into each of the at least one anchor borehole, after the sealant is dry securing a base to a top of the main column, securing to the base and placing under tension each anchor inserted into each of the at least one anchor borehole, the tension being such as to counteract radial forces to be induced by the structure to a longitudinal axis of the main column.
