NHAP CONTAINING ORAL COMPOSITION
Embodiments relate to a composition comprising nanohydroxyapatite (NHAP) in an amount about 0.5 wt. % to about 50 wt. % of the composition having a particle size in a range of about 20-100 nm, an abrasive, a sweetener, and a natural oil, wherein the composition does not contain glycerin and fluoride, wherein the composition is alkaline and a dental product, and wherein the natural oil is a plant product.
System and method for making an oral care formulation
Systems and methods for mixing an oral care formulation base with one or more oral care additives in-situ. In one aspect, the invention can be a method of making an oral care formulation for consumer use, the method comprising: a) providing a first dose of an oral care formulation base to an oral cavity of a test subject; b) dispensing one or more oral care additives to the oral cavity in accordance with a first dispensing regimen during the performance of step a), the one or more oral care additives mixing with the first dose of the oral care formulation base in-situ within the oral cavity of the test subject; c) obtaining feedback regarding effects experienced by the test subject during the performance of step b); and d) creating the oral care formulation for consumer use based, at least in part, on the feedback of step c).
Ingestible tablet or powder type oral cleaning composition
An oral cleaning composition in ingestible tablet or powder formulation contains natural materials. It has an advantage of portability because it is provided in a tablet or powder form instead of a liquid or gel form. In addition, the composition does not contain synthetic chemical components but uses only natural materials and can be safely ingested after use, and, thus, it does not require a space where it can be spit out. Furthermore, it exhibits excellent efficacy in inhibiting oral bacteria and removing bad breath.
Naringin-Loaded Metal Organic Frameworks
This invention relates to compositions, including oral care compositions, comprising naringin-loaded metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), such as naringin-loaded MIL-101(Fe), as well as methods of using and of making these compositions.
EXTRACT OF MORINGA PEREGRINA SEED CAKE, METHOD FOR OBTAINING SAME AND USE THEREOF IN COSMETIC OR NUTRICOSMETIC COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to an extract of Moringa peregrina seed cake predominantly comprising mainly a peptide hydrolyzate and to a process for obtaining the extract. The invention also relates to cosmetic or nutricosmetic compositions comprising said extract and to the use of said compositions for improving the appearance of the skin, mucous membranes or the integuments, for preventing and/or combating dryness of the skin and mucous membranes, for preventing and/or combating the signs of aging and/or photoaging of the skin, for promoting skin bleaching and for promoting slimming.
Jammed Emulsion Toothpaste Compositions
Jammed oil-in-water emulsion toothpaste compositions. Jammed oil-in-water emulsion toothpaste compositions with unexpectedly high yield stress values and/or high opacity without the use of a solid opacifier. Jammed oil-in-water emulsion toothpaste compositions with a hydrophobic phase with a particular droplet size of from about 0.4 microns to about 1000 microns, which can lead to toothpaste compositions with unexpectedly high yield stress values and/or high opacity without the use of a solid opacifier
Compositions and methods for dental care
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for their use in treating dental disorders, whitening teeth, restoring and retaining the tooth structure and restoring the mineral content of the tooth-mineral loss due to demineralization, wherein the compositions include a first formulation that includes a polypeptide effective to treat a dental disorder and/or whiten teeth, and one or more further formulations including at least one calcium ion source and/or at least one phosphate ion source, wherein the first formulation is configured to release the polypeptide more rapidly than Ca.sup.2+ is released from the at least one calcium ion source and PO.sub.4.sup.3− is released from the at least one phosphate ion source.
TOOTHPASTE COMPOSITION
A toothpaste composition for tooth whitening comprising first contents and second contents, wherein one of the first contents and second contents comprises a tooth whitening agent, and it is constructed such that the first contents and second contents are filled in a container having a diaphragm or separate containers and simultaneously used when brushing teeth is provided. The container is a dip tube container.
OXIDATIVE STRESS INHIBITOR AND ANTIOXIDANT AGENT
An oxidative stress inhibitor 100 of the present invention contains silicon particles capable of generating hydrogen. In a preferred aspect of the oxidative stress inhibitor 100, the following effects (a) and/or (b) can be exhibited. (a) The total amount of generation (total amount of production) is increased. (b) The amount of generation of hydrogen per unit time (i.e. rate of generation of hydrogen), particularly the rate of generation of hydrogen in the initial stage is increased.
Method of treatment
The present invention provides a method of suppressing hunger by lowering plasma ghrelin levels comprising administration of a compound to a human or animal body, wherein the compound is selected from: (i) (R)-3-hydroxybutyrate; (ii) an ester of (R)-3-hydroxybutyrate; and (iii) an oligomer of (R)-3-hydroxybutyrate moieties; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof. The invention also provides a method of administering such a compound in a dosage effective to reduce hunger in order that a cosmetically beneficial loss or maintenance of body weight occurs, wherein in the method, plasma ghrelin levels are lowered. The aforementioned compound is also provided for use in a method of treatment of the human or animal body wherein the compound is administered and hunger is suppressed by lowering of plasma ghrelin levels. The compound is particularly useful for subjects having conditions associated with overeating, such as overweight, obese, severely obese patients or diabetic patients.
