BULLET RESISTANT SECURITY FENCE
20210148677 · 2021-05-20 ·

A bullet resistant security fence is formed by a plurality of horizontally oriented formed metal panels extending between I-beam support posts. Each panel can be an extrusion having a hollow void for insertion of optional insert modules to enhance the bullet resistant capability. The insert module can be formed as a sandwich with alternating layers of metal sheeting and furniture grade plywood, screwed together to create an integral module. Each panel extrusion includes a tongue and groove interlocking configuration to resist penetration of the fence between metal extrusions. Construction is accomplished by stacking the metal extrusions between spans of adjacent support posts and securing the metal extrusions with a cap, which can include a louvered topper for the fence. Crash protection can be obtained by running cables through the voids in the lowermost extrusions and holes drilled through the support posts, and anchoring the cables at opposing ends thereof.

Barrier connection system and method thereof
10975592 · 2021-04-13 · ·

A barrier having first and second spaced posts interconnected by a rail, wherein the rail and posts are not inserted within one another. In the exemplary embodiments, the parts are hollow in at least the region of the intended interconnection. Each post is connected to the rail by a coupling. Each coupling includes a connector that extends inside the hollow region of the post and rail. The post includes an aperture wherein when assembled the connector extends through the aperture. The connecter includes an abutment that abuts an inside of the post to prevent movement of the connector through the aperture. The connector is moveable further into one of the hollow sections of the post or rail to withdraw the connector from the other of the post or rail. This allows the rail to be disconnected from the post without increasing the distance between the two spaced posts.

Interlocking fence panels

The present invention comprises a brace adapted to secure one or more fence rails to a fence post. The present invention brace may optionally be installed onto an existing fence or on a new fence. The invention includes a fence post brace member adapted to connect to two or more sides of a fence post and a pair of fence rail flanges for receiving one or more fence rails either in a vertical orientation or a horizontal orientation. The fence rail flanges may form one or more picket fastening slots for use in affixing a picket to the fence rails. The fence post brace system may be adapted for use with corner fence post arrangements.

Pipe fence and method of construction
10954690 · 2021-03-23 ·

A metal pipe fence and method of construction in which the posts of the fence are formed of lower pipe segments, which can be driven into the ground, and upper pipe segments installed on the lower pipe segments. The upper pipe segment is temporarily retained on the lower pipe segment for welding using a wedge piece driven through an eyelet which projects from the upper pipe segment such that the wedge piece is urged into a tangential slot formed through the wall of the upper pipe segment and into gripping contact with the lower pipe segment. The rails of the fence are preferably formed by connecting lengths of metal pipe or tubing end-to-end, without welding, so that the continuous series of connected pipe or tubing segments extends through rail openings provided through the upper pipe segments of the fence posts.

The present invention comprises a brace adapted to secure one or more fence rails to a fence post. The present invention brace may optionally be installed onto an existing fence or on a new fence. The invention includes a fence post brace member adapted to connect to one or more sides of a fence post and a fence rail brace member adapted to connect to two or more sides of a fence rail. The fence post brace member may form a vertical picket fastener slot for use in affixing a picket to the fence post. The fence post brace system may be adapted to secure a fence rail to a fence post such as those having a fence rail positioned on one or more sides of the fence post and those defining a channel for receiving a fence rail.

Modular privacy and sound barrier fence system
11053707 · 2021-07-06 · ·

A privacy and sound barrier fence system and apparatus is disclosed. The fence is erected with interlocking horizontal or vertical panels which are held in place by posts at the ends of the boards. The boards are equipped with a tongue and groove system, configured to enable the boards to interlock, forming a solid wall segment. Each segment, referred to as a module, may be connected at a 90 degree angle, to permit a turn in the fence. Adjustable mounting points on the posts allow for the modules to be disposed in a step orientation or at a slope for non-level terrain. The boards ensure that the erected fence remains aesthetically pleasing from both the front and rear of the fence. The fence system does not employ any structural rain reinforcement connecting the posts, and is capable of withstanding hurricane-strength winds.

A fence panel system comprises a first elongate frame member having a plurality of panel spacers projecting from a rearward facing wall in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the first elongate frame member, such that respective spacer pairs define open-ended channels therebetween that, in use, are adapted to receive fence panel ends. A second elongate frame member is adapted to secure to the first elongate frame member so as to close the open-ended channels for retaining the fence panel ends therein.

FENCE

Provided is a fence which can prevent a person from clambering over the fence while ensuring sufficient ventilation. The fence includes: a plurality of posts; a pair of plate members extending in a horizontal direction and spaced away from each other in a vertical direction; and a blocking member arranged in the space between the plate members for keeping a foot of a person from entering the space between the plate members to prevent the person from clambering over the fence, wherein a lower end of the blocking member is spaced upward from the plate member at a lower position, and defines a lower gap against an upper surface of the plate member at the lower position, the lower gap having such a dimension as to keep a tip of the foot of the person from entering the lower gap.
