The motor is selectively disconnectable from the connector-receiver for manual driving of the connector-receiver by the handle without backdriving the motor.

A door lock includes a lock with a latch. An inside face plate and an outside face plate of the door lock are respectively mounted to an inside plate and an outside plate of the door lock. A washer plate is sandwiched between the inside face plate and the outside face plate. An inside cylinder and an outside cylinder are connected between the inside plate and the outside plate. An inside collar is connected between the inside face plate and the inside cylinder, and an outside collar is connected between the outside face plate and the outside cylinder. When the door lock is set in ready-to-open mold, the door can be opened by either rotating the shafts or the door handle by one hand. When the door lock is set in locked mold, the door cannot be opened by simply rotating the door handle.

The first fastening member (11) comprises: a casing (17) equipped with an operating opening (18); a housing (19) for a cylinder (101) of the lock (100) and equipped with a locking device (21) for blocking the cylinder (101); a closing element (22) movable with respect to the housing (19) between an open position and a closed position in contrast with an elastic device (23).
In the closed position of the closing element (22) it is interposed between the operating position (18) and the locking device (21) and in the open position the closing element (22) protrudes from the first abutment face (12) and it is not interposed between the operating opening (18) and the locking device (21).

The fixing base and a lock cylinder disposed on the fixing base can be disassembled and replaced by removing the second fixing element such that dismantling the whole lock mechanism is not necessary.

The rotatable shaft (18) is in fixed non-rotatable connection with the housing (5) and is in operative coaxial connection with a rotatable member (6) that is rotatable within a body (4) of the lock (1) about the axis (20) to change the lock (1) between the locked condition and the unlocked condition. The housing (5) and the shaft (18) are in operatively supported connection with the body (4) of the lock (1). A motor (22) extends in the housing interior (16), is in operative connection with the shaft (18), and is operative to cause rotation of the shaft (18) within the body (4) of the lock (1).

The pushbar assembly includes a latchbolt and a pushbar operable to retract the latchbolt. The remote trim includes a handle that is operably coupled with the latchbolt via the transmission assembly such that the handle is operable to retract the latchbolt. The handle is positioned above the pushbar such that a vertical offset distance is defined therebetween. The offset distance is selected such that a user having a height within a selected range of heights is able to actuate the pushbar assembly, but cannot actuate the trim assembly.
