PUSH TO LOCK AND UNLOCK DOOR LOCK
A door locking mechanism is contained within a cartridge for use with a tubular style door lock. The cartridge activates and deactivates the door lock with a manual depression of a push button. Depressing the push button causes a cam to rotate thus converting the axial motion of the push button into a rotary motion thereby activating the door lock. Once locked, both the interior and exterior door knobs may not be rotated. In order to unlock the door, the push button is depressed a second time thereby rotating the cam in an opposing direction and deactivating the door lock.
Cylindrical lock with a clutching and a non-clutching configuration
The present disclosure is directed to a lock assembly that can be converted between a clutching and non-clutching orientation by rotating an outer housing 180 degrees relative to an outside drive assembly. The outer housing includes a notch and an elongate arcuate slot formed in the inner surface of the outer housing adjacent a through aperture and across from one another. A lock control lug is moveably coupled with the outside drive assembly and is selectively engageable with the notch or the arcuate slot of the outer housing. An outer lever is placed in a non-clutching configuration when the lock control lug is engaged with the notch and in a clutching configuration when the lock control lug is engaged with the arcuate slot.
Exit device with remote trim input
An exemplary closure assembly includes a swinging barrier, a pushbar assembly mounted to a first side of the barrier, a remote trim assembly mounted to a second side of the barrier, and a transmission assembly that extends at least partially through the barrier and couples remote trim assembly and the pushbar assembly. The pushbar assembly includes a latchbolt and a pushbar operable to retract the latchbolt. The remote trim includes a handle that is operably coupled with the latchbolt via the transmission assembly such that the handle is operable to retract the latchbolt. The handle is positioned above the pushbar such that a vertical offset distance is defined therebetween. The offset distance is selected such that a user having a height within a selected range of heights is able to actuate the pushbar assembly, but cannot actuate the trim assembly.
DOOR SYSTEM WITH LOCK ASSEMBLY
A deadbolt assembly may be installed on a door defining a crossbore extending from a first face of the door to a second face of the door. The deadbolt assembly includes a deadbolt configured to engage a door frame to limit movement of the door, a lock assembly including a first housing and a lock cylinder configured to be coupled to the deadbolt, the first housing defining a first fastener aperture, a motor assembly including a second housing at least partially containing an electric motor configured to be coupled to the deadbolt, the second housing defining a second fastener aperture, and a fastener configured to extend into the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture to both (a) force the first housing against the first face of the door and (b) force the second housing against the second face of the door.

The offset distance is selected such that a user having a height within a selected range of heights is able to actuate the pushbar assembly, but cannot actuate the trim assembly.
Cylinder lock assembly
A cylinder lock assembly for forming a cylinder lock for attachment in a panel, such as, for example, a door, includes an inner lock housing part, an outer lock housing part, at least one bridge, a carrier, an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, a carrier coupling, an operating knob, and a set of lock housing extension parts. The cylinder lock includes a selection from the set of the lock housing extension parts connected with the inner lock housing part in order to obtain a desired length of the inner lock housing part with the lock housing extension parts. This desired length is adaptable by changing the number of lock housing extension parts within the selection and/or selecting a lock housing extension part of a desired thickness. The selection from the set of the lock housing extension parts is positioned between the inner lock housing part and the operating knob.
LOCKSET WITH DUAL MESSAGE INDICATORS
A lockset for an accessway has coordinated inside and outside indicators to display the lock status. The lockset may also include a faculty lock function to enhance privacy. The lockset may also include a protective failure point in the outside handle to prevent damage from forced entry attempts. A dual action retract linkage may be included to allow the inside handle to both unblock and retract the bolt for convenient egress.
Cylinder Lock
Embodiments of a cylinder lock include a main body component and an extension component, wherein a locking arrangement can be employed to move a locking element at the back of the extension component to lock or unlock the extension component from a lock structure. Embodiments of the present disclosure further provide a cylinder lock with a lock adapter having a body and a biased catching mechanism operable to fit within the body near a back end of the lock adapter when in the retracted position and further operable to extend outwardly of the lock adapter body when in the extended position. The catching mechanism can be biased in the extended position and movable to the retracted position by a plunger. The plunger can be moved manually and can be locked in position using a lock such as a padlock with a shackle.
