LOCKSET WITH SLIDING SPINDLE
A lockset with a sliding spindle assembly allows ingress using a key on the outside or a button on the inside. The sliding spindle assembly provides first and second sliding mechanisms operated from the outside and inside, respectively, that operate a clutch to couple the outside handle to the main spindle. Each sliding mechanism comprises a key cylinder or twist and/or push button lock that rotates a cam to linearly advance (slide) a cam follower that incorporates a spindle receiver. The first sliding mechanism slides its spindle receiver between clutching and non-clutching positions with respect to the main spindle. The second sliding mechanism slides the main spindle itself between clutching and non-clutching positions with respect to the first sliding mechanism's spindle receiver. The sliding spindle assembly can be incorporated into a legacy lockset and also be used in a double-latch lockset.
MODULAR CYLINDRICAL LOCKSET
An exemplary product line system includes a common platform and a plurality of component families, each of which includes a plurality of interchangeable component species configured for use with the common platform. The common platform includes an inside drive assembly and a chassis assembly including a chassis and an outside drive assembly. A lockset assembled from the system includes the common platform and a plurality of modular components. Each of the modular components corresponds to a respective one of the component families, and is provided as a selected species of the corresponding component family. The lockset has a function defined by the set of component species installed to the lockset. The function of the lockset can be changed by altering the set of component species installed to the lockset without disassembling the chassis assembly.
Handle assembly for a window or door leaf
A handle assembly for a window or door leaf having first and second opposing sides, the handle assembly having a forward end and a rearward end, the handle assembly comprising: a first handle grip, configured for mounting to a first side of the leaf, the first handle grip being moveable rotatably and axially relative to a first handle axis, and a second handle grip configured for mounting to the second side of the leaf, the second handle grip being movable at least rotatably relative to a second handle axis, each handle grip having a closed position, wherein the handle grip is in a first angular position and an open position, wherein the handle grip is in a second angular position, the handle assembly having a rest mode and a locked mode.
Clutch engagement assembly of door lock and driving device thereof
A clutch engagement assembly for a door lock device includes a first shaft having at an end thereof an insertion end portion in which a channel is formed; a second drive shaft having a hollow engagement end portion into which the insertion end portion of the first shaft is inserted; a driving member which provides a driving force; and a pin member that is installed in a state of being elastically supported in the engagement end portion of the second shaft and is movable by the driving member so as to extending through (be inserted in) at least a part of the first shaft and at least a part of the second shaft, thereby causing a clutch engagement or a disengagement between a first shaft and a second shaft. The clutch engagement assembly may provide a relatively small size structure of the door lock device and a firm engagement force.
KEYCAM ASSEMBLY
A keycam assembly including a rotatable member, a stem, a locking member coupled to the stem for joint longitudinal movement therewith, and a cam driver. The rotatable member includes an aperture. A proximal end portion of the stem is rotatably seated in the rotatable member and defines a cam track. The locking member extends between the aperture and the cam track. The cam track includes a first passage including a locking pocket, a second passage including an unlocking pocket, a first ramped passage including a locking ramp extending from the second passage to the locking pocket, and a second ramped passage including an unlocking ramp extending from the first passage to the unlocking pocket. Relative rotation of the rotatable member and the stem causes the cam driver to travel along the track to thereby cause movement of the locking member between a locking position and an unlocking position.
CYLINDRICAL LOCK WITH A CLUTCHING AND A NON-CLUTCHING CONFIGURATION
The present disclosure is directed to a lock assembly that can be converted between a clutching and non-clutching orientation by rotating an outer housing 180 degrees relative to an outside drive assembly. The outer housing includes a notch and an elongate arcuate slot formed in the inner surface of the outer housing adjacent a through aperture and across from one another. A lock control lug is moveably coupled with the outside drive assembly and is selectively engageable with the notch or the arcuate slot of the outer housing. An outer lever is placed in a non-clutching configuration when the lock control lug is engaged with the notch and in a clutching configuration when the lock control lug is engaged with the arcuate slot.
Locking device
The invention relates to a locking device for doors, compartments, and flaps. The stator is equipped with a battery-operated motor and an electronic control unit which acts on the motor. A handle (20) is connected to the rotor (30) so as to transmit a torque and is held on the rotor (30) by a clamping spring (50). The clamping spring (50) has a receiving area for a magnet (60). The process of replacing the battery for the motor is easily facilitated in that the clamping connection between the handle (20) and the rotor (30) is triggered by an external influence on the magnet (60) (
Lock
A lock includes a latch assembly, a first locking mechanism, a second locking mechanism, a linkage mechanism, a clutch mechanism, and a rebounding mechanism. The lock utilizes a first clutch member and a second clutch member of the clutch mechanism to coordinate with a leaning portion of an inner linkage member of the linkage mechanism to achieve that when the turned inner linkage member will outward push the first clutch member and the second clutch member away from each other to make the second clutch member rapidly and accurately be engaged with an outer linkage member of the linkage mechanism so as to make the outer linkage member to drive the latch assembly to unlock. The arrangement provided by the present invention that has the first clutch member and the second clutch member coordinate with the leaning portion of the inner linkage member simplifies the entire structure of the lock.
Puller tool
A puller assembly for use with a lock device is disclosed. The lock device may have an interchangeable core. The puller assembly includes a puller core body having an opening sized to receive at least a portion of an operator actuation assembly of the lock device, a first engagement surface positioned to engage a portion of a rear end of the operator actuation assembly of the lock device, a second engagement surface positioned to engage a portion of a front end of a core assembly of the lock device, and an actuator which is moveable to alter a separation between the first engagement surface and the second engagement surface.
ELECTRO-MECHANICAL LOCK CORE
An interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core for use with a lock device having a locked state and an unlocked state is disclosed. The interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core may include a moveable plug having a first position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the locked state and a second position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the unlocked state. The interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core may include a core keeper moveably coupled to a lock core body. The core keeper may be positionable in a retain position wherein the core keeper extends beyond an envelope of lock core body to hold the lock core body in an opening of the lock device and a remove position wherein the core keeper is retracted relative to retain position to permit removal.
