Lock for a flap or door

The invention relates to a lock for a flap or a door, with a lock housing, a locking mechanism consisting of a rotary latch (4) and at least one pawl (6), and at least one spring (23) which is capable of pivoting a pivotable component of the lock from a starting position in the direction of an end position by means of spring force, characterized in that the spring (23) is held by a bearing stud (22) which is connected integrally to the lock housing (25) of the lock, and wherein the bearing stud has a stop (24) for the spring, and/or wherein the bearing stud (22) is connected integrally to the stop (24), wherein the stop (24) has the effect that the pivotable component is not spring-loaded in the end position thereof.

In a door opening and closing device for a vehicle, a handle case is mounted on an outer panel of a door, an arm portion of an outer handle that can be operated on the door extends through the handle case, penetrates into the outer panel, and is pivotably supported on the handle case, and a return spring is provided between the handle case and a pivoting member that is disposed on the handle case, pivotably supported on the handle case, and operatively linked to the outer handle. The device includes a dust proof wall surrounding a coil portion of the return spring. Accordingly, even when foreign matter enters an interior of the outer panel of the door through a gap between the arm portion of the outer handle and the handle case, it is possible to inhibit foreign matter from being caught in the return spring.

A door lock, assembled in a door sheet, is provided, wherein the door lock has a latch, a first locking mechanism, and a second locking mechanism, wherein the door lock is adapted to be assembled on the door sheet through coupling the first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism onto the latch. The first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism have a spiral resilient member screw and abut on a bulge so as to lock the first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism corresponding to the door sheet. At the same time, an engaging member of the second locking mechanism can both resiliently abut against an upper engaging member and a lower engaging member of the first locking mechanism, so as to limit the lateral movement of the first locking mechanism and the latch, which is not only assembled conveniently. Besides, the engaging and abutting structures among the engaging member, the upper engaging member, and the lower engaging member as well as the spiral resilient member and the bulge are very simple and effective.

A power actuator for a latch of a motor vehicle closure panel includes a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion. An electric motor is supported between the first housing portion and the second housing portion. The electric motor has a drive shaft extending along an axis between opposite ends. A drive gear is fixed to the drive shaft and a driven gear is meshed with the drive gear. An annular seal is compressed between the first housing portion and the second housing portion. A first bias member extends from the annular seal into engagement with one of the opposite ends of the drive shaft and a second bias member extends from the annular seal into engagement with the other of the opposite ends of the drive shaft. The first and second bias members are formed as a monolithic piece of material with the annular seal.

A door latch assembly includes a housing, an inside and outside handle operably coupled with the housing, and a latch plunger. A latch cam is operably coupled with the inside and outside handles, and the latch cam further includes a crank arm slidably disposed against an inclined surface of an offset plunger leg operably coupled to the latch plunger. A biasing member urges the latch plunger to an extended position, wherein rotation of the inside or outside door latch handle in a first direction rotates the crank arm of the latch cam and displaces the plunger leg of the latch plunger and the latch plunger to a retracted position against the urging of the biasing member.
