Door latch assembly
A latch feature for a door is disclosed herein. The latch feature includes an input body that is operable to move linearly between first and second positions relative to the door. The latch feature also includes an output body. The output body is coupled to the input body by a pivot member that is configured to pivot relative to the output body and the input body to allow the output body to move linearly toward the input body from an outboard position to an inboard position as the input body moves from the first position to the second position.
Lock having a modified spring lip for motor vehicle doors
The invention relates to a lock for a motor vehicle or a building, said lock being equipped with a rotary latch (2) rotatably supported in the lock housing (10) about a locking bolt (3), wherein the lock housing (10) has a slotted guide (8) for the locking bolt (3), said slotted guide having at least one spring lip (15) on the insertion side, which spring lip reaches into the slotted guide and cushions the locking bolt (3), said spring lip having creaking protection (17) that partially covers the surface (16) of the spring lip, wherein the spring lip (15) has a bounding bead (20) at the free end (18) and wherein the creaking protection (17) is designed as a sheet metal clamp (21) that can be attached to the spring lip (15) in front of the bounding bead with a preload.
Dual action door mechanism for a battery compartment
A lock mechanism for a compartment has been developed. The lock mechanism includes a deformable arm affixed to a housing of the compartment and positioned within the compartment. The deformable arm includes a first end configured to be biased into a first position to engage a latch of a door of the compartment to prevent the latch from opening, and a receiving surface configured to receive an external force to move the deformable arm to a second position that disengages the first end from the latch to enable opening of the latch while the external force is applied to the receiving surface.
Electromechanical lock
An electromechanical lock includes a lever coupled with a locking mechanism configured to receive mechanical power from an user, and to output the mechanical power to mechanically disengage the locking mechanism provided that a support of the fulcrum is in an open position, and a return mechanism for the support of the fulcrum including a reset spring whose other end is configured to, during the reception of the mechanical power from the user, move past the support of the fulcrum with the mechanical power outputted by the lever, and, finally, force the support of the fulcrum with the mechanical energy outputted by the return spring through the lever back to a locked position.
Motor vehicle, in particular motor vehicle door lock
The invention relates to a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, which is equipped with a locking mechanism (1, 2) composed, essentially, of a rotary latch (1) and a pawl (2). Furthermore, a securing device (5, 6, 7, 8) and and an emergency actuation element (9, 10, 11) for the securing device are realized. The securing device (5, 6, 7, 8) has at least one securing lever (5), which can be acted upon both by a first motor drive (7) and by an emergency actuation lever (10) as part of the emergency actuation element (9, 10, 11). According to the invention, the first securing lever (5) has a spring (5a) for positioning the first securing lever.
