CLOSURE LATCH ASSEMBLIES
Latch assemblies for opening and closing openable structures having a housing defining a cavity, a handle movably mounted to the housing, and a latching mechanism between the handle and the housing. The latching mechanism includes at least one guide pin mounted to the housing, a first body movable along the at least one guide pin and having a first latching element extending through the housing, a second body movable along the at least one guide pin and having a second latching element extending through the housing, a first link attached to the first body, a second link attached to the second body, and a link connector operably connecting the first link to the second link, wherein movement of the link connector urges the first latching element and the second latching element apart through movement of the first link and the second link and the first body and the second body.
DUAL LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR OPENABLE STRUCTURES
Latch systems for opening and closing openable structures including a first latch assembly, a second latch assembly separated from the first latch assembly, and an assembly connector operably connecting the first latch assembly to the second latch assembly such that operation of one of the first latch assembly and the second latch assembly causes operation of the other of the first latch assembly and the second latch assembly through the assembly connector. Lateral movement of a portion of the first latch assembly in operation causes lateral movement of the assembly connector which causes lateral movement of a portion of the second latch assembly to thus operate the second latch assembly.
INDEPENDENT RX SPRING CARTRIDGE FOR A MORTISE LOCK
A spring cartridge for a mortise lock for engaging first and second spindle hubs rotatable by a handle to open and close a latchbolt. The spring cartridge comprises a housing adapted to be secured within the mortise lock housing, and first and second members slideable with respect to the spring cartridge housing, the first and second members each having a first end adapted to contact an outer surface of the first and second spindle hubs, wherein the first and second members are independently actuable along a longitudinal axis of the spring cartridge housing in response to rotation of the first or second spindle hub. A spring retained by the spring cartridge housing contacts a second end of the first and second members to bias each of the first and second members against the outer surface of the first and second spindle hubs, respectively. Upon rotation of one of the hubs, the member contacting the hub permits the hub to rotate, while the member contacting the other hub prevents the other hub from rotating.
Emergency access device for a vehicle openable leaf
Emergency access device for a vehicle opening leaf, including: a graspable pull rod that is movable between a retracted position and a deployed position; a retention needle that is movable transversely to the pull rod between a position for blocking the pull rod in its retracted position and a position for releasing the pull rod; an electric ejector designed to release the pull rod; a mechanical ejector designed to release the pull rod; the pull rod including an oblique path designed to cause the retention needle to move from its blocking position to its releasing position during a movement of the pull rod in translation.
Motor vehicle lock, in particular motor vehicle door lock
A motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, comprising a locking mechanism consisting essentially of a rotary latch and a pawl, further comprising an actuation lever chain for the locking mechanism, and comprising a locking element, at least one securing element, and exactly one spring element that cooperates with both the locking element and the securing element. The actuation lever chain can be controlled via the locking element to be put at least into the functional states unlocked and locked and can be additionally controlled via the securing element to be put into the functional states non-secured and secured. According to the invention, the spring element additionally cooperates with the actuation lever chain.
MOTOR VEHICLE LOCK
A motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock is provided with an actuation lever chain for a locking mechanism. The actuation lever chain has at least one actuation lever and a coupling element. A mass inertia element is also produced, which acts on the coupling element at least in the event of a crash. As well as a spring acting on the mass inertia element. According to the invention, the spring is designed to be double-acting, with a crash spring part and an engaging spring part.
