Cylindrical latch bolt assembly having beveled blocking surface

A lockset (10) is actuable by pivoting a lever (14) about a longitudinal axis of the lockset (10) by rotating the lever (14) and by pushing or pulling on the lever (14). An actuator linked to the lever extends into a retractor assembly (33) of the lockset and is configured to actuate a retractor (40) to retract a latch bolt (550) in order to enable a corresponding door (22) to be opened. The latch bolt (550) has a blocking surface (560) that is configured to engage an edge of a door strike plate (45) in order to prevent the door (22) from opening. The blocking surface (560) is inclined relative to an axis of the latch bolt (550).

A door locking system is disclosed for integrating into an entry door having a door hardware extension therein and a door sill. The door locking system includes a continuous cane rod that transitions from an open configuration to a locked configuration by radial displacement of a handle of the continuous cane rod away from an upper retention member, vertical displacement of a shaft of the continuous cane rod such that a heel penetrates a receiving member, and radial displacement of the handle of the continuous cane rod to a lower retention member such that the handle is releasably retained by the lower retention member. The continuous cane rod transitions from the locked to the open configuration in the opposite manner. The door locking system provides a reinforced entry door in the locked configuration.

Push and slide gate handle

The present gate handle includes a push button that is pushed before the gate handle is slid from a closed position to an open position on top of a support member. The support member includes a resilient button that extends into the gate handle and is pushable out of the gate handle by the push button. The support member further includes side slots that are engaged by side slides extending from the handle.

The magnetic latch device has a magnetic latch assembly and a locking mechanism which are mounted in a housing of the magnetic latch device. The magnetic latch assembly has a latch bolt, restoring springs providing a restoring force to the latch bolt, and a magnetized element mounted in a latch portion of the latch bolt which is protrudable from the housing. The engagement device has a magnetic attracting assembly mounted in a latching seat of the engagement device. The magnetic attracting assembly can attract the magnetized element to move into the latching seat and to attach to the magnetic attracting assembly. The latch bolt will not bump to the engagement device while the door is closing.

The window sash restraint device includes a body adapted to be fixed directly to the frame or sash and a restraining member which in an active condition, restrains the sash in either the open position or the closed position relative to the frame and when inactive allows movement of the sash relative to the opened or closed positions. The device further comprises a manually releasable restraining mechanism for holding the restraining member in the active condition. The device is adapted to restrain the sash in the opened position, with an opening small enough to prevent a child from falling out of the window yet secure enough to prevent the child from further opening and falling from the window.
