Lock Assembly
A lock assembly including a lock mechanism, a guide, a strike plate and an alignment track. The lock mechanism includes a lock bolt transitionable between an unlocked orientation and a locked orientation. The guide is carried by the lock bolt and travels along a path that is both parallel and perpendicular to the strike plate as the lock bolt transitions between the unlocked orientation and locked orientation. The strike plate includes a strike plate opening through which the lock bolt passes when transitioning from the unlocked orientation to the locked orientation. The alignment track engages the guide for laterally aligning the lock bolt within the strike plate opening in a direction generally orthogonal to a plane in which the lock bolt travels when transitioning from the unlocked orientation to the locked orientation. Methods of operation and door assemblies including the lock assembly are provided.
Quiet door latch
A door latch mechanism including a latch housing, a bolt having a proximal end with a head and a distal end having a latch, a hub including a central bore for receiving a spindle, a lever actuated by rotation of the hub, the lever including a slot in a top portion of the lever receiving the head of the bolt such that the lever and the bolt move together in both rearward and forward directions.
Cushioned carabiner clip
The present invention relates to an improved carabiner system, including an impact-dampening cushion around the external surface of the frame for cushioning damage during a fall or collision and to reduce sound from loose or swinging carabiner collisions. Additional surface routing and through holes provide improved register between the carabiner frame and the over-molded cushion layer.
ANTI-FRICTION LATCHBOLT
A latchbolt assembly includes a solid latchbolt having at least a first surface, a second surface and a third surface and an anti-friction bolt pivotally coupled to the solid latchbolt. The anti-friction bolt includes a cross member disposed adjacent the first surface of the solid latchbolt and a pair of plates depending from the cross member to form a U-shaped cross section. The plates are disposed adjacent the second and third surfaces of the solid latchbolt.
Electromagnetic door opener
The invention relates to an electromagnetic door opener comprising a housing for installing in a door frame, a pivotable cover which can be rotated between an open position and a closed position, and a security device operating counter to a forced rotation of the cover from the closed position into the open position, which comprises a primary security step and a secondary security step. Said door opener is characterized in that the secondary security step comprises a locking element which is supported in a form fit on the base of the housing of the door opener housing.
Lock, vehicle parking system, and vehicle parking method
A lock, a vehicle parking system, and a vehicle parking method are provided. The lock includes a main body, a lock switch, a lock controller, a lock communication circuit, and a battery. The battery is connected to the lock switch, the lock controller, and the lock communication circuit, and configured to supply electrical energy to the lock switch, the lock controller, and the lock communication circuit. The lock communication circuit is connected to the lock controller, and transmits a locking instruction or an unlocking instruction to the lock controller when receiving the locking instruction or the unlocking instruction from a second device located outside the lock. The lock controller is connected to the lock switch connected to the main body, and the lock controller controls, when receiving the locking instruction or the unlocking instruction, the main body to perform a locking operation or an unlocking operation through the lock switch.
Lock body with adjustable strike plate for sliding doors
A dead bolt is provided in a lock shell to be drive-jointed with a drive mechanism. Two hooks are symmetrically set along an access direction of dead bolt in the shell. The hooks are hinged with an elastomer therebetween. A draw ring is set to keep mute upon popup under the action of anti-collision mute strip. A strike plate and strike box assembly have a panel with an elongate groove on at least one end thereof. The elongate groove has a set of slots on at least one side thereof. The strike plate is provided with a fastening hole on each end. The fastening hole has a sidewall extending above the plane of the strike plate with a clip bar at a position able to fit into a corresponding slot in the elongate groove. The clip bar joints the corresponding slot to facilitate alignment adjustability.
DIRECT ACTION WINDOW LOCK
A window latch for a sliding window having a sliding sash including a latch plate and a housing. The housing includes an engagement element movable relative to the housing from a locked position operatively engaged with the latch plate to an unlocked position disengaged from the latch plate. A handle is operatively coupled to the engagement element and movable from a first position to a second position in a first direction corresponding to the direction the sliding sash to which the handle is attached moves to an open position. The handle operatively moves the engagement element from the locked position to the unlocked position as the handle is moved in the first direction toward the second position.
LOCKING BOLT
A manually operated locking bolt (1) having a cylindrical, sleeve-shaped bolt guide (3) and a bolt (2), which is mounted to be axially displaced in the bolt guide (3), and which has a locking end (15) and an actuating end (31), wherein the bolt (2) is mounted to be axially displaced between a first axial end position or a second axial end position within the bolt guide (3) and can be locked, wherein at least one sensor (27) is fastened to the bolt guide (3), which sensor detects the two axial end positions of the bolt (2) as a measured variable and generates therefrom a further processable electrical signal.
REVERSIBLE LATCHBOLT
A latch bolt with a bolt head that is removably mounted on a latch tail through the use of a bolt head adjustment mechanism. The bolt head adjustment mechanism may comprise one or more locking members (e.g., within the bolt head, the latch tail, and/or independent from the other components of the latch bolt) that allow the bolt head to be removed, rotated, and reassembled while the latch bolt is located within the case of the mortise lock. The bolt head may comprise an anti-friction latch that is configured to pivot within the flanges of the bolt head in a way that maintains contact between the anti-friction lock and the strike plate.
