A lock knob assembly includes a knob body, a cover and a coupling member. The knob body is provided for covering a lock cylinder, and the cover is provided for covering the knob body. The lock knob assembly utilizes the coupling member to selectively couple the cover and the knob body, thus allowing the cover to couple with or separate from the knob body.

Weather-resistant lock

A lock can include attack-resistant and/or weather-resistant features. Attack-resistant features can include a sacrificial link between a locking mechanism and an external keyway covering an exterior face of the locking mechanism. The sacrificial link can break during a torque attack on the lock such that the full force of the torque attack is not applied to the locking mechanism. Weather-resistant features can include drain openings in one or more housing components external to the locking mechanism to facilitate drainage of liquid matter from the lock before the liquid matter reaches the locking mechanism.

LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH REMOVABLE COVER

A vehicle assembly includes a door and a lock. The lock is configured to selectively maintain the door in a closed position. The lock has a receptor arranged on an exterior side of the door. The vehicle assembly additionally includes a physical engagement interface disposed proximate the receptor. The vehicle assembly also includes a cover which is removably coupled to the physical engagement interface. The cover has an interior surface, an exterior surface, and an aperture extending from the exterior surface through the interior surface. When coupled to the engagement interface, the cover inhibits access to the receptor. The vehicle assembly further includes a deflectable retaining member. The deflectable retaining member is configured to deflect from a first position, retaining the cover to the engagement interface, to a second position, releasing the cover from the engagement interface, in response to insertion of a tool into the aperture.

Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system, which can comprise a securement. The securement comprises a rising member and defining at least a first slot. The system can comprise a locking member, the locking member defining an aperture. Wherein, when operatively coupled to the securement, a padlock coupled to the locking member via the aperture prevents removal of the locking member from the securement.

Universal electronics lock

A universal electronics lock and lock kit has an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. The outer cylinder slidingly fits over the inner cylinder. The outer cylinder is equipped with a lock cylinder that has an movable latch. When the latch is in one position, it clears an inwardly-directed ridge defined within the inner cylinder. The lock is then in the unlocked position. When the latch is in a second position when rotated by a turning of a key, the latch is disposed behind a portion of the ridge and the lock is in the locked position. The universal electronics lock of the present invention allows rotation of the cylinders about a fastener, thus making the lock difficult to cut or saw through. In the lock kit, a plurality of fasteners and spacers are provided to adjust for use with electronics from different manufacturers.

Lock assemblies for female drive receptacles

Lock assemblies for locking female drive receptacles include a portion with a feature that is configured to permit selective insertion of the portion of the lock assembly into the female drive receptacle when the portion is in a first rotational orientation and to selectively restrict removal of the portion from the non-circular receptacle when the portion is in a second rotational orientation that is offset from the first rotational orientation. The lock assembly is configured to receive a padlock to restrict rotation of the portion from the second rotational orientation to the first rotational orientation and thereby lock the lock assembly to the female drive receptacle.

METHOD FOR MUTUALLY CONTROLLING AND UNLOCKING A DUAL PLUG IN A LOCK AND A LOCK WITH A DUAL PLUG
