A security door lock with a hinged door and a locking assembly. The door jamb has a number of apertures formed in a bolt receiving side of the jamb to receive a corresponding number of door bolts extendable from an outer free edge of the door. The locking assembly has a barrier panel spaced from the jamb to define a narrow longitudinal slot is adapted to receive a door guard member extending normally from an internal surface of the door adjacent the outer free edge, and is reinforced by the barrier panel against lateral flexing or distortion. A handle mechanism controls the lateral movement of the closure and the retraction or extension of the locking bolts.

Weather-resistant lock

A lock can include attack-resistant and/or weather-resistant features. Attack-resistant features can include a sacrificial link between a locking mechanism and an external keyway covering an exterior face of the locking mechanism. The sacrificial link can break during a torque attack on the lock such that the full force of the torque attack is not applied to the locking mechanism. Weather-resistant features can include drain openings in one or more housing components external to the locking mechanism to facilitate drainage of liquid matter from the lock before the liquid matter reaches the locking mechanism.

Tamper-resistant locking and notification systems for detention cells

A locking system that has an opening in a door adapted and arranged for receiving a lock bolt and a lock fixed in a wall for actuating a lock bolt adapting and arranged for being received by the opening in the door when the door is closed. Alternatively, the locking system is mounted on the exterior of the detention cell door and the adjacent exterior cell wall. The locking system further comprises a blocking strip protruding from a door jamb, the strip coupled to the door jamb, the strip coupled to the door jamb and positioned adjacent the lock bolt for blocking access to the lock bolt between the door and the door jamb. The locking system further comprises a system for monitoring and reporting the status of a detention cell door, the lock bolt, and the roller bolt.

Anti-theft device for door locks

The anti-theft device is configured in a door lock, and contains a first blocking piece, a second blocking device, a positioning piece, and a lever. The first blocking piece contains a first section and a second section bended and extended perpendicularly from the first section. The first section has a first through hole and a second through hole. The lever is engaged by a lock heart of the door lock. When the door lock is locked, the lock heart is turned to engage the lever so that the lever drives the first blocking piece downward by its first through hole. The second section of the first blocking piece as such blocks a lock tongue of the door lock so that the door lock cannot be opened without using key.

Lock that does not distinguish between public and private spaces
20240410198 · 2024-12-12 ·

The present invention discloses a lock that does not distinguish between public and private spaces and relates to the field of locks, comprising two sub locking systems which have the same structure, wherein the two sub locking systems are arranged mirror symmetrically on two sides. It can be optionally installed on both spaces where privacy is needed and a change of the entire lock is not required, such that all designs of an indoor layout and different requirements for design logics regarding doors are adjusted to, that a locking on both sides in an electrically controlled manner is possible, that rotation of a cylinder on both sides is prevented, and that an unlaching movement on both sides in an electrically controlled manner is possible.

Cylinder and control component

The present invention discloses a cylinder and a control component and relates to the field of locks, comprising two mirror-symmetric cylinder mechanisms (B) which jointly drive a latchbolt control ring (1), wherein the cylinder mechanisms (B) comprise an electric locking ring (2, 9) and a control pillar (8, 11), wherein each of the two control pillars (8, 11) is equipped with a first control pin (71) and a second control pin (72), wherein the first control pin (71) and the second control pin (72) circulates around the rotatable shaft (81), wherein the rotation direction, in which the first control pins (71) controls the latchbolt control ring (1) to unlatch, corresponds to the rotation direction, in which the second control pin (72) controls the latchbolt control ring (1) to unlatch. The present invention enables equal operations on both sides of a door, and that the separate operation on both sides of the door does not interfere with each other. Furthermore, only one cylinder is required, which simplifies the structure and a single motor realizes a not-interfered alternating output on both sides of the door.
