Seal integrity indicator for a sterilization container
Seal integrity indicators for sterilization containers are provided. For example, a seal indicator may indicate whether the container is sufficiently sealed to prevent an ingress of contaminants into the container. If the container is sufficiently sealed, the seal indicator is visible, but if not, the seal indicator is not visible. Thus, the seal indicator undergoes a change in state when the sterilization container transitions from unsealed to sealed, or vice versa, such that a user may ascertain whether the container is properly sealed to maintain the container's sterility. An exemplary seal indicator includes an invertible projection formed with the container gasket that is not visible from outside the container until inverted, due to force applied by the lid, to extend through an opening in the container body. Closure mechanisms for sterilization containers also are provided.

MODULAR COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DISINFECTING OBJECTS INCLUDING SENSOR SYSTEMS AND TRACKING MECHANISMS
Systems, apparatus, and methods are described for a disinfection system formed of a plurality of modular units, wherein each modular unit is (1) coupleable to at least one other modular unit from the plurality of modular units and (2) includes an energy source from a plurality of energy sources. The plurality of energy sources can be configured to provide energy having an intensity capable of disinfecting a surface of the object located in a disinfecting area. The disinfection system can be used with object indicator tags and/or include one or more safety features.

NETWORK-CONNECTED STORAGE LOCKER STERILIZATION FOR EXCHANGE OF ITEMS
A processing system including at least one processor may obtain information regarding an exchange of an item, the exchange having a sterilization requirement for the exchange, and may identify a network-connected storage locker having at least one sterilization component that is capable of fulfilling the sterilization requirement and that is available for assignment to the exchange. The processing system may then transmit a first notification to the network-connected storage locker of a reservation of the network-connected storage locker for the exchange and transmit to a computing system associated with a source of the item a second notification of the reservation of the network-connected storage locker for the exchange.

Sanitization assembly, shelf for furnishing element with sanitization assembly and furnishing element with sanitization assembly
Described herein is a sanitization assembly including: a sanitization device, such as for example a photocatalytic device or ionizer or the like; and a containment element. The sanitization device is received in the containment element, and the containment element includes a box-shaped, box-like containment body. The box-like containment body includes side containment body surfaces and has dimensions in the width and thickness thereof that are substantially the same as those of a panel or rack or shelf of a furnishing element that includes side shelf surfaces. The box-like containment body can be assembled on the panel or rack or shelf, thus being continuous with the panel or rack or shelf. The side shelf surfaces substantially continue in the side containment body surfaces.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INFRARED DEHYDROFREEZING AND DEHYDRO FREEZE-DRYING
Dehydration and drying are some of the oldest methods of preserving food and other biological materials such as proteins and both live and dead live microorganisms or their metabolites. The invention disclosed herein seeks a method of further improving the process of preserving biological material by combining the freezing or freeze-drying process with a partial infrared dehydration step. By using infrared radiation energy to perform simultaneous blanching and dehydration, the drying speed is greatly increased and better cellular and molecular integrity is maintained. The invention herein is also particularly useful in connection with cannabis and hemp.
Plasma treating an implant
A method is provided for treating an implant in a medical care center prior to using the implant in a medical procedure. The method comprises applying a plasma-generating electromagnetic (EM) field using at least one electrode so as to generate plasma in a vicinity of the implant while displacing the electrode and the implant relative to one another. A portable plasma module and a docking station configured to connect to the portable plasma module, thereby forming a plasma generating system, are also provided. A plasma generating apparatus for treating an implant prior to using the implant in a medical procedure is also provided.
