A lock for computer security has housing comprising a bottom wall, at least one side wall and a front wall with a corner region defined adjacent to both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall. A combination-based locking assembly comprises a locking assembly body holding at least two locking elements including a main locking element and a movable locking element, both said locking elements being supported by the locking assembly body, and the main locking element extending from and away from the locking assembly body at the front wall of the lock housing. A driver is coupled to the movable locking element, configured to selectively move the movable locking element in frontwise and rearwise directions, and controlled by a locking mechanism. The locking assembly is secured to the housing at the corner region thereof, with the locking elements located directly adjacent both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall. A key-based lock enables overriding the combination-based locking assembly to unlock the movable locking element even while the combination lock is in a locked state.

The disclosure generally relates to a system and method for managing distributed encrypted combination over-locks from a remote location. In an exemplary embodiment, the invention is a distributed management system for that controls access to various locations, such as, for example, self-storage units, hotel rooms, apartment buildings, storage containers, short-term housing rentals, lockers, equipment rooms, vaults, hospitals, airports, government facilities, nuclear power facilities, water treatment facilities, weapon storage facilities, aircraft cockpits, and any other setting that requires restricted, selective, or monitored access that can be remotely controlled.

Alarming code lock

The present disclosure provides an alarming code lock, including a lock head and a steel wire rope. A warning device, a circuit board, and a trigger switch are disposed inside the lock head. The warning device and the trigger switch are electrically connected with the circuit board. One end of the steel wire rope is fixedly connected with the lock head and is electrically connected with the circuit board. A plug is disposed on another end of the steel wire rope. The plug is inserted into the lock head and then makes contact with the trigger switch. The steel wire rope and the circuit board form a protection circuit, and the warning device is configured to raise an alarm when the plug keeps in contact with the trigger switch and the protection circuit is disconnected.

The lock has a hook, a locking finger and a latch. The locking finger is engaged with the hook and the latch when the lock is in the locked mode. The locking finger is disengaged from the hook and the latch when the lock is in the opened mode. The lock can be opened by a combination mechanism or by an overriding key mechanism. The combination mechanism has a button, and a plurality of dials and clutches to control the movement of the button. When the dials are set to a correct combination, the button can be moved to disengage the latch from the locking finger, allowing the locking finger to disengage from the hook. The key mechanism has a cylinder with a key slot to receive a key for rotating the cylinder to disengage the latch from the locking finger, allowing the locking finger to disengage from the hook.

The present invention discloses a flippable cable lock with a twistable cable capable of being twisted into an X-shape cross state and remains in that state. In addition, the cable lock further includes a combination lock mechanism, an elastic member and a key lock mechanism. The elastic member includes a plurality of arc-shape elastic sheets engaging with multiple dials of the combination lock mechanism. The key lock mechanism includes a blocking portion and a push portion. When the key lock mechanism is unlocked, the blocking portion leaves from blocking a lower-section of the twistable cable, and the push portion pushes the lower-section to move.

Cable lock having dual unlocking mechanism

A lock has a flexible cable, instead of a shackle. The lock has a shaft moveable relative to the lock body so the top part of the shaft is moved out of the lock body to open the lock. The lock has a combination unlocking system and a key-overriding system. The lock can be unlocked by a lock-opening combination or by a correct key. The first end of the cable is fixedly attached to the lock body and the second end is removably engaged with a shaft slot. When the lock is in the locked mode, the shaft slot is located inside the lock body, preventing the removal of the second end of the cable from the shaft slot. When the lock is in the open mode, the shaft slot is located outside the lock body, allowing the second end of the cable to be removed from the shaft slot.
