20200173203 · 2020-06-04 ·

A lock for computer security has housing comprising a bottom wall, at least one side wall and a front wall with a corner region defined adjacent to both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall. A combination-based locking assembly comprises a locking assembly body holding at least two locking elements including a main locking element and a movable locking element, both said locking elements being supported by the locking assembly body, and the main locking element extending from and away from the locking assembly body at the front wall of the lock housing. A driver is coupled to the movable locking element, configured to selectively move the movable locking element in frontwise and rearwise directions, and controlled by a locking mechanism. The locking assembly is secured to the housing at the corner region thereof, with the locking elements located directly adjacent both the bottom wall and the at least one side wall. A key-based lock enables overriding the combination-based locking assembly to unlock the movable locking element even while the combination lock is in a locked state.

LOCKING DEVICE

A locking device for securing and handling objects is disclosed. The locking device includes a cable having a first end and a second end, wherein the cable includes a flexible metal wire extending throughout a length thereof and an outer protective cover enclosing the flexible metal wire therein. The locking device also includes a male connector arranged at the first end of the cable. The locking device further includes a locking member arranged at the second end of the cable, wherein the locking member includes a female connector with a radial through hole so as to mateably receive at least a portion of the male connector therein to engage therewith, and wherein the locking member is configured to lock the male connector in the female connector when engaged therewith so as to form a closed loop of the cable.

Lockbox with multi-position shackle

A lock assembly includes a lock body and a U-shaped shackle having a curved portion extending between first and second legs receivable in first and second shackle apertures in an upper portion of the lockbox body. The shackle has a guard wall affixed to an interior surface of the curved portion, the guard wall defining an interior arcuate wall surface extending forward and rearward from a central plane bisecting the shackle. The upper portion of the lock body includes first and second protruding projections at least partially surrounding the first and second shackle apertures and defining first and second upwardly diverging interior surfaces laterally aligned with the curved portion of the shackle. The lock body includes a latching mechanism configured to secure the shackle in a plurality of latched positions to adjust a distance between the first and second upwardly diverging interior surfaces and the curved portion of the shackle. When the shackle is secured around a door handle with the shackle secured in a suitable one of the plurality of latched positions, abutment of the interior arcuate wall surface with a neck portion of the door handle impedes forward and rearward rotation of the lock assembly about a horizontal axis extending through the curved portion of the shackle and abutment of the first and second upwardly diverging interior surfaces with a neck portion of the door handle impedes side-to-side twisting rotation of the lock assembly about a vertical axis extending through the curved portion of the shackle.

A padlock includes a shell, a shackle, a button and an indicator. The shackle has a long leg, a short leg and an arch section extending between the long and short legs. The short leg is rotatable about the long leg. The button is movable to a blocking position to block the short leg from rotation about the long leg, and to an unblocking position to permit the rotation of the short leg about the long leg. The key-operated lock core is configured to drive the button in one direction to the blocking position and in a reverse direction to the unblocking position. The indicator is movable with respect to the key-operated lock core and the button. The indicator is movable from an original position, toward a first horizontal level that is tangent to the vertex of the arch section of the shackle, to an indicative position outside the shell.

COMBINATION LOCK

A combination lock includes a body with a shackle and a keybox connected thereto. A combination device IS connected to the body and includes a first control panel, a second control panel and a switch button. The first control panel includes multiple digit wheels rotatably connected thereto, and the second control panel includes multiple number buttons and multiple function buttons. The first control panel and the second control panel control the shackle and the cover of the keybox. The switch button is switched to a first position to activate the first control panel, and the switch button is switched to a second position to activate the second control panel.

Multiple configuration lock

A portable lock apparatus is adaptable to readily transform between a single cable loop configuration or a double cable loop configuration, and incorporates a locking mechanism permitting selective release and securement of one or more cable ends to achieve either configuration. The lock apparatus may secure multiple components, particularly, when in the double cable loop configuration, thereby removing the need for multiple locks for securing a single article.

Cable lock having dual unlocking mechanism
20200011085 · 2020-01-09 ·

A lock has a flexible cable, instead of a shackle. The lock has a shaft moveable relative to the lock body so the top part of the shaft is moved out of the lock body to open the lock. The lock has a combination unlocking system and a key-overriding system. The lock can be unlocked by a lock-opening combination or by a correct key. The first end of the cable is fixedly attached to the lock body and the second end is removably engaged with a shaft slot. When the lock is in the locked mode, the shaft slot is located inside the lock body, preventing the removal of the second end of the cable from the shaft slot. When the lock is in the open mode, the shaft slot is located outside the lock body, allowing the second end of the cable to be removed from the shaft slot.

The knob lock of the present invention includes a knob, a first driving unit disposed on the knob, a driving barrel, a second driving unit, a lock unit, and a lock core. When the lock core is in a locked state, the driving barrel is restricted from rotating by the lock core, and the knob rotates alone with respect to the driving barrel. When the lock core is in an unlocked state, the restriction to the rotation of the driving barrel by the lock core is removed, the first driving unit applies a driving force on the second driving unit when the knob rotates, and the driving force rotates the driving barrel to make the lock unit rotate together.
