Flushing dispensers for delivering a consistent consumer experience

A process for flushing a dispenser that dispenses liquids, especially perfumes, containing microcapsules. The dispenser has a first reservoir for a first composition containing microcapsules and a second reservoir for a second composition containing a volatile solvent. The dispenser also has a swirl chamber and a premix chamber. The process simultaneously pumps the first and second compositions into the premix chamber and then into the swirl chamber. The pumping of the first composition is halted while the pumping of the second composition continues, and this provides an extra volume of the volatile solvent, which flushes the dispenser to prevent clogging by the microcapsules.

An odor mitigating caddy includes first and second frame members each having opposed front and rear edges, respective rear edges being pivotally coupled together with a living hinge such that the frame members are selectively movable between a closed configuration at which the front edges, respectively, are generally adjacent one another and an open configuration at which the front edges, respectively, are separated from one another. The first and second frame members are defined by peripheral edges and include first and second grate members extending between respective peripheral edges, respectively. A porous odor mitigating sheet is held between the frame and grate members. First and second frame members include aligned first and second hook members so that the caddy is selectively suspended from a closet rod or the like.

Effervescent Tablet and Composition for Masking Toilet Odors and Method of Use Thereof

The present invention relates to a small, effervescent tablet for disguising bathroom odors. The tablet includes sodium bicarbonate, a mild acid and natural or essential oils. The tablet is wrapped in a moisture proof recyclable foil that can be torn along a perforation line to use the tablet. The tablet is simply dropped into a plumbing fixture and when the tablet is diluted in water, an effervescence is produced releasing carbon dioxide and the aroma of the natural oil is released to mask the unwanted odor. The packaging of an individual tablet is compact allowing a user to store and conceal the tablet in purses, waistbands, clothing, wallets, pockets, boots, and even in phone cases.

SCENT DISPENSER AND SCENT CELL THEREFOR

A scent dispenser is provided which comprises a cylinder having a cylinder chamber for receiving a hollow piston which includes a piston body that is closely fitted to the cylinder chamber and is slideable therein, upward to a fully extended position and downward to a fully compressed position. The piston body also includes a cylindrical piston chamber having an opening at a bottom end of the piston body, which body is sized and shaped to receive a scent cell therein. The piston further includes a cover attached to or integral with an upper end of the piston body. The scent cell may be in the form of a substrate of nonwoven fibrous material capable of allowing air to flow readily through the scent cell and through a volatile scented substance contained therein. The scent cell may further comprise a coating material capable of reversibly absorbing or adsorbing the volatile scented substance, while allowing air to flow readily through the scent cell. The coating material covers or coats the substrate and may comprise a substantially hydrophilic foam.

BIOCHAR EXTRACTS AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING MATERIAL EXTRACTED FROM BIOCHAR

A method for capturing material extracted from biochar, the method comprising the steps of: (i) providing a biochar; (ii) contacting the biochar with a treating liquid, where the treating liquid causes the removal of solids from the pores and surface of the biochar, thereby creating a resulting solution comprised of the treating liquid and removed solids; and (iii) collecting the resulting solution.

SCENT DISPENSING DEVICE
20170290940 · 2017-10-12 ·

A scent dispensing device comprising a porous material saturated with a scent composition and dried, such that the scent composition dispenses from the porous material when air flow is induced to pass through. The porous material comprises a dispense and a mount surface. The dispense surface is covered by a cover portion minimizing contact with the scent composition. A base portion joins the mount surface. An adhesive portion on the mount surface helps adhere the porous material to an air flow inducing object that induces air flow through the porous material, dispersing the scent composition in the proximity of a path followed by the air flow inducing object. The porosity of the porous material creates turbulence that releases the scent. A panel portion covers the adhesive portion until device is ready for mounting. A tab portion provides a gripping surface for removing the panel portion.
