The electronic access control strike can have a bolt socket, a bolt path leading to bolt socket, a keeper movably mounted to a frame in a manner to be moveable into and out of interference with the bolt path, a cam member moveable for selectively blocking or unblocking the movement of the keeper, and an anti-preload member which is moveable into interference between the keeper and the cam member for preventing the keeper from conveying a preload force onto the cam member when the cam member is in the blocking position, and moveable out from interference between the keeper and the cam member when the cam member is in the unblocking position to allow the keeper to be moved out from interference with the bolt path.

Door strike assembly with a revolving latch ejector

A door strike assembly includes a strike housing and latch release assembly. The door strike assembly is used in conjunction with a lockset which includes a door latch moveable from a latched condition when a door is closed and an unlatched condition where the door may be opened. The lockset includes a deadlatch to prevent unauthorized movement of the door latch when the door is closed. The latch release assembly is received within the strike housing and includes a latch ejector which engages the deadlatch when the door is closed. A motor is coupled to the latch ejector where actuation of the motor rotates the latch ejector to disengage the latch ejector from the deadlatch. Further rotation of the latch ejector causes the latch ejector to engage the door latch to move the door latch to the unlatched condition such that the door may be opened.

Door switch arrangement for a lavatory door device of an aircraft

To reduce complexity, solve tolerance problems and increase reliability and customer satisfaction, a door switch arrangement for a lavatory of an aircraft is provided, wherein, to generate signals which indicate a current status of the lavatory door, the door switch arrangement uses a sensor device with contactlessly operating reed sensors.

Locking mechanism

A locking mechanism including a plunger, a plurality of locking elements, a cage including apertures in which the locking elements are housed, and a sleeve, with the sleeve moveable with respect to the cage between an unlocked position and a locked position, and when the sleeve is in the locked position, the sleeve maintains the locking elements in engagement with a recess on the plunger to restrict movement of the plunger.

Electric strike

An electric strike according to the present invention comprises a housing, and an actuator mounted to the housing to switch operation of said strike between open and locked modes. In changing the modes the actuator provides lateral motion and a blocking element is included that is also mounted to the housing and cooperates with the actuator. The actuator's lateral motion causes rotational movement in the blocking element to switch between said open and locked modes. Different embodiments of the present invention can operate as dual mode electric strikes wherein the actuator is movable between fail-safe and fail-secure positions, and can include switches and paddles to monitor the position or condition of certain mechanisms in or working with the strikes. In some embodiments the blocking element can be rotatably mounted to the housing at a plurality of rotation mounting points and can comprise a plurality of blocking surfaces. In other embodiments, at least one of the one or more blocking surfaces having a pre-load movement mechanism to reduce friction with the keeper.

SHARED STORAGE CABINET AND LOCK THEREOF
20200332562 · 2020-10-22 ·

A shared storage cabinet and a lock thereof are disclosed. The shared storage cabinet includes a cabinet body and a lock installed on the cabinet body. The cabinet body is divided into a plurality of cells by means of a frame thereof The cabinet lock includes a lock body, a locking piece and a locking and unlocking assembly. The lock body is laterally inserted into and fixed within the frame of the cabinet body. The locking and unlocking assembly is disposed within the lock body. One end of the locking piece is pivotally connected to one side of the lock body, while the other end of the locking piece rotates about the end thereof to achieve locking/unlocking in cooperation with the locking and unlocking assembly of another adjacent cabinet lock on the frame.

SURFACE MOUNTED SINGLE SOLENOID ELECTRIC STRIKE

Surface mount electric strikes according having a housing with an opening for a door latch bolt. First and second opposing latches are movably mounted to the housing and operable to open or block the lack bolt opening. First and second keepers can be in the housing each of which is arranged to cooperate with a respective one of the first and second opposing latches to block or not movement of its latch. A single actuating device is also in the housing and is controlled by an electrical signal. It is arranged to operate on the first and second keepers and is moveable in the housing between two positions. One or more mode control screws can be included that engages the actuating device through the housing and are movable between at least two screw positions. The movement of the screw causing movement of the actuating device between its device positions, wherein one of the positions results in operation of the strike in fail-safe mode, and the other of the positions results in operation of the strike in fail-secure mode.

Adjustable strike keeper face and method of adjusting

An actuator-controlled electric strike operates in conjunction with a latch having an engaged position to secure a door in a closed state and a released position. The strike comprises a housing defining an entry chamber. A keeper is disposed in the entry chamber about an axis for rotation between a locked position and an unlocked position. A unitized actuator module is provided including a body, a keeper release and an actuator movable between first and second positions. When the actuator is in one of the first or second positions the keeper release is coupled to the keeper and the keeper is secured in the locked position. When the actuator is selectively moved to the other of the first or second positions the keeper release is decoupled from the keeper and the keeper is rotatable to the unlocked position.

AIRCRAFT DOOR LATCH APPARATUS AND RELATED METHODS FOR USE OF THE SAME
20200300001 · 2020-09-24 ·
