LOCKING DEVICE WITH CONFIGURABLE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR KEY AND INTERNAL CIRCUIT BOARD FOR ELECTRONIC DOOR LOCKS
20170022733 · 2017-01-26 ·

Locks, systems and methods of monitoring a lock, the lock having a hub with a slot rotatable by a handle to open and close a latchbolt. A locking member is moveable into and out of engagement with the hub slot to prevent and permit movement of the hub and latchbolt. A sensor on the lock, adjacent the hub and locking member, monitors a moving lock component. The sensor may sense the position of the locking member in or out of engagement with the hub slot. The sensor may be a reed switch actuated by a magnet on the moving lock component. The lock may further include a magnet mounted on the hub and the sensor may comprise a reed switch capable of being actuated by the magnet on the hub. The lock and system may include an external control unit having an alarm for controlling operation of the lock.

Lock assembly

A lock assembly (20) including a lock bolt (28), a first hub (36) and a first hub locker (72). The lock bolt (28) is movable between a latching position and an unlatching position. The first hub (36) is adapted to move the lock bolt (28) in response to movement of a first handle. The first hub locker (72) is positionable in at least three positions. The first hub locker (72) allows movement of the lock bolt (28) in response to torque being applied to the first handle when in two of the at least three positions and prevents movement of the lock bolt in response to torque being applied to the first handle when in another of the at least three positions. Alternatively, the first hub locker (72) prevents movement of the lock bolt (28) in response to torque being applied to the first handle when in two of the at least three positions and allows movement of the lock bolt (28) in response to torque being applied to the first handle when in another of the at least three positions.

Door opening system for animal enclosure
12286814 · 2025-04-29 ·

A door opening system for an animal enclosure is provided. The door opening system can include a latch mechanism to hold a door of the animal enclosure in a closed position and an opening mechanism to move the door to an open position in response to the latch mechanism releasing the hold on the door. The latch mechanism can incorporate an electromagnetic locking mechanism that is controlled by a user interface device at the enclosure or by a command from a remote device wirelessly connected to a control module for the electromagnetic locking mechanism by a network. The opening mechanism can include one or more springs that can move the door from the closed position to the open position.

Bolting mechanism

A bolting mechanism includes bolt members driven between extended and retracted configurations, a first drive train to couple motion of a handle to the members to drive them between configurations, a primary deadbolt mechanism to prevent the bolt members from being driven between configurations when the mechanism is in a locked state, the mechanism includes a fail-secure actuator that prevents the bolt members from being driven between configurations in case of power loss, a second drive train to couple motion of a second handle to the bolt members to drive them between configurations, the second drive to override the mechanism to drive the bolt members between configurations even when the mechanism is in the locked state, and a secondary deadbolt mechanism arranged to prevent the bolt members from being driven between configurations when the secondary deadbolt mechanism is in a locked state.

LOCK STRUCTURE AND COOKING APPLIANCE
20250264224 · 2025-08-21 ·

A lock structure includes a mounting member, a locking member, and a limiting member. The mounting member is connected to one of a door assembly or a cavity assembly, and the other of the door assembly or the cavity assembly is provided with a connecting part. The locking member is connected to the mounting member, and the locking member is configured to move between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the locking member is connected to the connecting part. In the unlocked position, the locking member is separated from the connecting part. When the locking member is located in the locked position, and the limiting member operates in a first state, the limiting member is configured to limit the locking member. When the limiting member operates in a second state, the limiting member releases the locking member.
