Locking system
Locking systems and devices and methods for using the systems and devices are provided. A locking system may include a receptacle having a lock and an electronic credential. If the electronic credential is brought into proximity of the receptacle, then a key can be used to open the lock. The electronic credential can be incorporated into a vehicle or into a handheld device.
Mortise lock and mortise lock systems and methods
A mortise lock system may include a plurality of hub lock actuators which may be independently actuatable to inhibit a retraction of a latch bolt of the mortise lock system. One of the plurality of hub lock actuators may be electrically driven and responsive to a lockdown command received from a remote device.
ELECTRONIC LOCK
A lock can include a motor assembly, a gear assembly, and an unlocking assembly. The motor assembly can include a motor and a drive shaft. The gear assembly can include a cam, a pinion gear, and a pinion. The pinion gear can include a plurality of teeth disposed along only a portion of a perimeter of the pinion gear. The pinion gear can be configured to engage the pinion. The pinion can be configured to translate laterally to release a biasing member to unlock a door of a container.
DOOR LOCK MECHANISM
A door lock mechanism that rotates a cam mechanism to lock or unlock an enclosure. The mechanism includes a bias member that is coupled to the cam mechanism with a cam pin, where the cam pin is located on one side of the centerline of the lock in the locked state, and on the other side of the centerline of the lock in the unlocked state, to bias the cam mechanism into either the locked or unlocked state. Further disclosed are one or more stop mechanisms that prevent the cam mechanism from over-rotating past the locked or unlocked position. The bias member can further absorb impact from the lock rods of the door lock mechanism contacting the stop mechanisms.

One of the plurality of hub lock actuators may be electrically driven and responsive to a lockdown command received from a remote device.
Electronic and mechanical combination lock
A lock including a housing and an opening for receiving a locking bolt moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position is provided. The lock also includes a rotary actuator having a rotary output of a predetermined amount and responsive to entry of an electronic combination input by a user; a cam wheel operably coupled to the housing and responsive to a manual combination input of the user, the cam wheel including a cam way; a bolt release lever moveably coupled to the housing and including a nose portion engageable with the cam way and a locking bar; and an armature post responsive to both the rotary and manual inputs, the armature post moveable between a blocking position for blocking the locking bolt in the locked position and an unblocking position for allowing the locking bolt to move into the unlocked position.
Lock charging apparatus
A lock portable charging apparatus includes a case defining an interior area that is enclosed and a locking device situated in the case. A shackle assembly is operatively coupled to the locking mechanism and is functional to selectively secure the case to a support structure. The case defines a key inlet for receiving a key in to operate the lock mechanism. A battery, processor, and memory storing programming are situated in the case. A primary and auxiliary USB port are positioned on the case and electrically connected to the battery for receiving AC power to recharge the battery and share battery power with other electronic devices, respectively. A GPS module is in the case for determining a global location of the case. A solar cell is included to provide electrical current to the battery. Programming is included to locate a mobile phone associated with the case.
