Door access control system permitting electronic and mechanical unlocking
09691203 · 2017-06-27 ·

A door access control system permitting electronic and mechanical unlocking includes a lock mounted to a door and an unlocking device matched with the lock. The lock can be set to be in a normal mode or an away mode. The unlocking device can be used to input a real-time unlocking identification information that is transmitted to the lock for comparison purposes. The lock can also be unlocked by a key. When the lock is set to be in the away mode, an alarm device is activated if the key is used. In this case, a first input device of the lock can be used to input a real-time alarm deactivating information to deactivate the alarm device. When the lock is set to be in the normal mode, the alarm device does not operate even if the key is used to unlock the lock.

Electronic combination lock with different levels of access control

An electronic combination lock has a touch panel for combination code entry. If the combination code matches a preset code, a solenoid in energized to unlock the lock, allowing a user to pull up the shackle to open the lock. The user can be a master user, a regular user or a temporary user with each type of users having different level of access. For example, the master user can have unlimited number of times to use the master combination code, while a temporary user has only a limited number of times to use its temporary code as designated by the master user. In one embodiment, the lock can be opened with a key. In another embodiment, the user can enter the combination code from a detached electronic device.

The present disclosure describes locking mechanisms comprising a locking component and a latching component. The locking component is within or otherwise connected to a first structure, such as a sliding door, and the latching component is within or connected to a second structure, such as a door jam. The latching component comprises a latch structure comprising features that can accept a portion of the locking component to lock the first structure to the second structure. In some embodiments, the latching component comprises a recess within the latching component. In some embodiments, the locking component comprises a rotating engagement structure configured to engage the latching component.

DUAL INPUT LOCK WITH REMOVABLE DIAL
20170096838 · 2017-04-06 ·

A lock including a removable dial is provided. The lock includes locking means configured to lock and unlock a removable dial to replace the dial or to service the lock. The locking means are moveable between a first locked position and a second unlocked position in which the dial may be removed. The locking means may comprise a finger-actuated button that is biased in the locked position by compression means. The compression means may comprise a spring. Applying force to the button overcomes the counterforce being exerted by the compression means and the front facing dial can be easily removed. To replace the dial, force must again be applied to the locking means to move the locking means to the second unlocked position or alternatively the shaft of the dial is inserted into the housing and snaps into place.

ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCKING DEVICE

The invention relates to electromechanical non-volatile locking devices powered by a key battery with an electronic coding of unlock code. The technical result of the invention is to reduce energy costs when opening and closing the lock. An electromechanical locking device comprising an electronic key comprising: a tail section with protrusions, negative and positive contacts; a case wherein the power supply and electronic board for storing the electronic code are located, and a lock comprising: a lock case comprising a front bushing and a stationary inner bushing wherein a rotating lock bushing is located, comprising inlet and end sections, wherein negative and positive contacts of the lock located in the inlet section, and the end section is connected to the locking mechanism of the lock by means of a tang; a coupling mechanism comprising a slider with a return spring, configured to transfer force from the protrusion of the tail section of the key to compress the trigger spring pin when inserting the tail section of the electronic key into the shaft of the stationary inner bushing, and fixing the trigger spring pin using a locking mechanism; a lock opening mechanism comprising an electronic control board configured to identify the electronic code of the electronic key and transmit a control signal to an electromagnet, which is configured to transmit force to the locking mechanism by means of a tang by transmitting force to the end section of the rotating bushing of the lock when turning the electronic key in the inlet section of the rotating bushing of the lock after identifying the electronic code of the electronic key, and the transmission of force to the end section of the rotating bushing of the lock connected to a tang is carried out by moving the pin into the hole of the end section of the rotating bushing of the lock after the action of the electromagnet on the locking mechanism, leading to the release of the trigger spring pin, wherein the slider and the pin are configured to return to their original position due to the accumulated energy of the return spring when removing the tail section of the electronic key from the shaft of the stationary inner bushing.
