DOOR LOCK APPARATUS
A door lock apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is mounted in a door and moves a deadbolt to a locked position or a released position as a motor is driven. The door lock apparatus may include a main gear rotated by the motor, a damping clutch part engaged and rotated by rotation of the main gear, a shaft which is engaged and rotated by rotation of the damping clutch part and moves the deadbolt as the shaft is rotated, and a knob which is manually operable by a user and is connected to the shaft. An emergency rotation operation of the shaft may be enabled by disengaging the main gear and the damping clutch part through the knob.
Lock devices, systems and methods
Lock devices, systems, and methods that can include an internal mechanism to permit backdriven operation and lost motion operation. In one form the lock includes an assembly of parts that includes parts having locating features that that can assist in those parts being assembled with other parts of the assembly in a single, relative orientation. Further, lost motion may be utilized to accommodate manual displacement of one or more components of the can also be displaceable, in at least certain situations, via operation of a motor. The lock can also include an internal power source capable of driving electronics used to determine handedness of a door.
REDUNDANT ACTUATION LOCK DECOUPLING SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE
A redundant actuation lock apparatus includes an interface, an electronic mechanism, and a manual mechanism. The interface manipulates lock bar(s) into a locked/unlocked position. The electronic mechanism includes an actuator and power drive. The actuator is disengageably coupled to and drives the interface. The power drive is coupled to and drives the actuator in response to a control signal. The manual mechanism includes a key input and an output. The key input receives and rotates with a mechanical key. The output disengageably couples to the interface and rotates with the mechanical key. The actuator is engaged with and the output is disengaged from the interface in an electronic mode, while the actuator is disengaged from and the output is engaged with the interface in a manual mode.
DEAD BOLT LOCK SYSTEM AND METHOD OF RETRACTING A DEAD BOLT
A dead bolt lock system including a slider member operatively coupled to a dead bolt such that when the slider member is in a first position, the dead bolt is in an extended position. When the slider member is in a second position, the dead bolt is in the retracted position. The system also includes a first movable member positioned in a path of movement of the slider member and configured to be displaced by the slider member to allow the slider member to move to the second position. The system includes a first lock having a first condition preventing the displacement of the first movable member and a second condition allowing the displacement of the first movable member, a second lock having a first condition preventing the displacement of the first movable member and a second condition allowing the displacement of the first movable member.
LOCK WITH MOVABLE KNOB
A lock including: a retractable knob; and a knob release mechanism for retaining the retractable knob in a retracted position, the knob release mechanism retains the retractable knob in the retracted position until a motor of the knob release mechanism is actuated by an input provided to a keypad located on a surface of the lock.
DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM WITH A RAPID RELEASE MECHANISM
A door locking system for a door module that separates compartments in an aircraft. Door locking system has locking element that is adapted to maintain door panel of door module in a closed position. Door locking system further includes first and second mechanisms that are adapted to release door panel from the closed position in a normal and an abnormal mode, respectively. Second mechanism is spatially segregated from and operates independently of first mechanism. Second mechanism includes locking element release actuator, pressure sensor, and controller that directs locking element release actuator to act on locking element when pressure sensor detects a difference in pressure between the compartments that exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Interlocking Device
An interlocking device for locking a movable safety guard has a locking unit, an electric mover, an additional release unit, a sensor device and an evaluation unit. The locking unit is movable between a locking position for interlocking the movable safety guard and a release position for releasing the movable safety guard and the mover is configured to move the locking unit between the locking position and the release position. The additional release unit is movable from a neutral position into an additional release position to move the locking unit from the locking position into the release position. The sensor device is configured to detect a position of the locking unit and a position of the additional release unit. The evaluation unit is configured to output a locking signal, a normal release signal, and an additional release signal.
Electronic combination lock with different levels of access control
A mobile device, such as a mobile phone, is configured with an application icon on the device display for communications with a combination lock through a wireless signal. The wireless signal includes information indicative of a combination code for operating the combination lock at one of a plurality of access levels, wherein the access levels define the number of access times for unlocking the combination lock. The display is arranged to allow a user to enter a password to unlock the combination lock and, if the user is an administrator, to change the combination codes and the access levels.
