LOCKING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MOVABLE FREIGHT CONTAINER DOOR
A locking system and method for a movable freight container door comprises an electronic module and a mechanical lock element. The mechanical lock element comprises a shaft, at least of portion of which is configured to be inserted through an aperture in the electronic module, across a door handle retention region, and into a cavity in the electronic module. The shaft is securely retained in the electronic module by moving a lock mechanism to a locked position. At least one magnetic field sensor in the electronic module is used to read the position of the shaft in the cavity by sensing or not sensing one or more magnets in the shaft. A wireless communication component in the electronic module wirelessly transmits magnetic field sensor information.
Smart lock box
A smart lock box system is described. One implementation of the lock box system includes a locking mechanism configured to securely hold a cover over a compartment. The lock box system includes a receiver capable of receiving signals from a user device. The lock box system also includes a processor configured to identify an access message in a received signal, a service to verify that the access message was provided by an authorized party, and cause the locking mechanism to be released in response to verifying that the access message was provided by the authorized party. The open/close events are recorded in a distributed ledger to document which user's device was used to access a given property at a given time. Furthermore, the smart lock box system utilizes a push notification service, based on user device's GPS, to inform owners when to depart/return to the property.
LUGGAGE LOCK DEVICE
A luggage lock device includes: a plurality of luggage lock mechanisms able to store luggage of a user of a vehicle so that when locked, the luggage is restricted from being taken out; and a luggage lock control device connected to the plurality of luggage lock mechanisms. The luggage lock control device is configured to: control the plurality of luggage lock mechanisms; acquire a destination of a user; and recognize a user who stowed luggage in the luggage lock mechanism and the luggage lock mechanism in which the user stowed the luggage, and wherein the luggage lock control device is configured to unlock a luggage lock mechanism storing luggage of the user arriving at the destination when the vehicle reaches the destination of the user.
Portable electronic lock
A portable electronic lock for luggage, comprising: a housing and a securement member in cooperation with the housing to secure an item to the lock; a locking mechanism in the housing in communication with the securement member to releasably secure the securement member to the housing; a communications module in the housing for operating the locking mechanism to release and secure the securement member in response to a wireless signal; and a secondary release system for releasing the locking mechanism, wherein the secondary release system is selectively operable by a user.
Intelligent Key System
Techniques for using wireless electronic keys with devices are disclosed. For example, a computer system can program an access code into a programmable wireless electronic key. An action or function of the device can then be made contingent on there being a match between the access code from the key and an access code known by the device. Also, audit data such as device access history can be wirelessly transferred from a device to an electronic key, whereupon the key can later transfer this audit data to a computer for analysis.
Transportable Device for Preventing a Loss of a Movable Object
The invention relates to a transportable device for preventing a loss of a movable object, comprising a protective housing (2) for protecting the device (1), an electronic alarm device (35), which is arranged in the protective housing (2) and has an anti-theft alarm function, and fastening means (11) for detachably fastening the device (1) to the movable object, wherein the fastening means (11) comprise at least one wrap-around element (12; 46; 52; 59; 68) for wrapping around at least one part of the movable object and wherein the wrap-around elements (12; 46; 52; 59; 68) can be fixed by means of locking elements (19, 20, 21; 49, 50, 51; 55, 57, 58; 61, 63, 64, 65; 71, 72, 73), which are arranged in the protective housing (2), wherein the locking elements (19, 20, 21; 49, 50, 51; 55, 57, 58; 61, 63, 64, 65; 71, 72, 73) can be selectively opened and closed by means of a lock device (13) rigidly connected to the protective housing (2), and wherein additionally the protective housing (2) can be selectively opened and rigidly connected to the protective housing (2), and wherein additionally the protective housing (2) can be selectively opened and closed by means of said lock device (13) and access to at least one chamber (18, 33) in the protective housing (2) is thereby enabled.
SECURITY LOCK FOR TRAILER CARGO COMPARTMENT
Disclosed is a security lock for cargo compartment of a trailer. This solution is targeted to hermetically closeable cargo compartments (e.g., refrigerated cargo compartments) and includes at least one electromechanical lock mounted on the exterior side of the door. This locking solution is applicable to a number of cargo compartment doors produced by trailer companies, and with no substantial modifications in the original construction of the door due to the lock mounting. The lock provides several options of locking/unlocking, at least, by mechanical key, and continuous monitoring and locking/unlocking remotely from the central office with the use GPS and communication services (Internet/GSM/GPRS/satellite). The variety of mounting and locking options allows to adapt this solution and to protect the cargo from unauthorized access, on different trailers and logistics processes, for the entire trip of the cargo from the source to the destination.
Electrically controlled locking arrangement
An electrically-controlled locking arrangement for a lock mechanism of a commercial vehicle load space door includes a housing and a hook member rotatably mounted within the housing for engagement with an external catch member. A handle is coupled to the hook member to effect movement between open and closed positions. A detent is provided either on the hook member itself or on a component coupled to the hook member, a locking dog being arranged for movement between a locked setting where the dog is in engagement with the detent and a free setting where the dog is clear of the detent, to allow operation of the handle to move the hook member to its open position. An electric actuator is mounted within the housing to drive the locking dog to its free setting allowing rotation of the hook member from its closed position to its open position.
ELECTRONIC LOCK
An electronic lock includes a housing, and a locking system within the housing. The locking system includes electronics and a lock. More particularly, the housing contains therein, a controller and at least one electronic input device electrically coupled to the controller, where the controller causes the lock to transition between a locked position to an unlocked position responsive to input from the electronic input device.
ELECTRONIC LOCK
A lock can include a motor assembly, a gear assembly, and an unlocking assembly. The motor assembly can include a motor and a drive shaft. The gear assembly can include a cam, a pinion gear, and a pinion. The pinion gear can include a plurality of teeth disposed along only a portion of a perimeter of the pinion gear. The pinion gear can be configured to engage the pinion. The pinion can be configured to translate laterally to release a biasing member to unlock a door of a container.
