Closure Locking System
A lock module comprising a housing, a lock pawl, and an actuator. The lock pawl may be moveable between an extended position and a retracted position, wherein the lock pawl extends from the housing by a greater distance in the extended position than in the retracted position. The actuator may be configured to selectively couple to the lock pawl, the lock module being in a locked configuration when the actuator is coupled to the lock pawl. The lock pawl may be configured to move in a first direction as a closure moves from a first position to a second position and the lock pawl may be configured to move in a second direction as the closure moves from the second position to the first position. The first direction may be opposite the second direction. The lock pawl may be configured to block movement of the closure when the lock module is in the locked configuration.
EXIT DEVICE TRIM LOCKING
An exemplary trim lock device is configured for use with a trim comprising a lift finger, and generally includes a housing, a blocking member, and a lock actuator. The blocking member includes a projection, and is rotatably mounted to the housing for rotation between a blocking position in which the projection blocks actuating movement of the lift finger and an unblocking position in which the blocking member does not block actuating movement of the lift finger. The lock actuator is operable to rotate the blocking member between the blocking position and the unblocking position.
Task enabled switch system
A Task Enabled Switch System comprising: A Data Server with a Task Manager Module, Skill Management Module and a Switch Device Management Module; A Client Device with a Task Player; A Switch Device with a Task Enabled Switch; A user uses the Client Device to download the tasks linked with the Switch Device. Once the tasks are completed successfully, the Client Device will turn on the Task Enabled Switch in the Switch Device. The user can also accumulate reward points, or reward badges, or reward pictures for tasks done, and redeem the points to open the Switch Device. Several lock/latch designs with the said Task Enabled Switch are also presented. A game system comprises of the game pieces with 2D Barcodes, Skill Management Module and Task Enabled Switch is also revealed.
LOCKING KNIFE HOLDER
A locking knife holder uses either mechanical or electronic locking systems to secure the knives into the holder. The electronic locking system includes the implementation of one or more electromagnets into the holder. The user can then selectively lock or unlock the knives in the holder by activating or deactivating, respectively the electromagnet. In other implementations, the mechanical locking system can use magnetic keys to unlock the mechanical locking system.
Push-to-Open/Signal-to-Open Appliance Door Latching System with an Integrated Locking Device
Provided is a push-to-open latch for an oven appliance and other household appliances. The push-to-open latch includes an integrated locking device for locking an appliance door in place and initiate a downstream appliance function such as a self-cleaning function. The integrated locking device includes a rotating cam having a latching slot which engages a pawl. The rotating cam also includes a guiding ramp and a catch surface which may be used to engage a latching finger to lock the cam in place. In addition, the locking device may include a locking slide and a locking slide pin that is actuated by a solenoid to engage the cam. Once the appliance door is locked, one or more switches send a signal to the appliance controller to activate the downstream function.
EXIT DEVICE ASSEMBLY
An exit device assembly for use in association with a door having a top, a bottom and a generally vertical surface. The exit door assembly includes an exit device configured to be mounted on the surface of the door, the exit device including a manually movable member, a latch mechanism configured to be mounted adjacent one of the top and the bottom of the door, the latch mechanism including a latch movable between a locking position and a non-locking position, and a non-rigid device for causing movement of the latch in response to movement of the manually movable member.
Lock mechanism for securing a lockable volume
A lock and method of locking a lockable volume is described. The lock may be located on a door of a lockable volume, such as a locker configured to hold an item. The lock may comprise a post and a cam, the cam having an opening corresponding to the size and shape of the post. The cam is rotatable about an axis, wherein the rotation of the cam about the axis releasably secures the post within the opening, thereby locking the door to which the post is attached.
Locking Apparatus, Locking Member, and Method of Use
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for restricting movement of an openable object including a body, an actuator, a lifting member, at least a portion of the lifting member being configured to be raised or lowered relative to the body using the actuator to selectively restrict movement of the openable object, and a control circuit including a transceiver configured to receive a requested operation, the control circuit configured to process the requested operation and to control the locking apparatus responsive to the requested operation to place the locking apparatus in a locked or an unlocked state.
DOOR LATCH, LOCK AND OPEN MECHANISM FOR MEDICAL DEVICE TREATMENT SYSTEM
A latch and lock assembly includes a lever pivotable between a latched and unlatched position. A first actuator selectively moves a locking tab between a locked and unlocked position. In the locked position, the locking tab blocks pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. In the unlocked position, the locking tab allows pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. A second actuator selectively rotates a door opening tab between a first and second position when the locking tab is in the unlocked position is included. When the door opening tab is in the first position the lever is in a latched position, and when the door opening tab is rotated from the first position to the second position, the door opening tab abuts the lever and urges the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position.
MULTI-VOLTAGE CHARGING APPARATUS
A charging apparatus includes a charging terminal, a ground terminal, and a coupling circuit coupled to the charging terminal. The coupling circuit is configured to sense a charging voltage applied to the charging terminal and to selectively couple the charging terminal to a first charging node in response to a first voltage being applied to the charging terminal, and to selectively couple the charging terminal to a second charging node in response to a second voltage being applied to the voltage sensing terminal, the second voltage being different from the first voltage.
