Internal power generating circuit for EAS hard tags
In an aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, apparatus, and system for operating a security tag, comprising activating a piezo-electric component of the security tag to generate an electrical charge in response to an applied mechanical force on the security tag; determining whether a verification signal has been received by the security tag upon activating the piezo-electric component; and disengaging a mechanical component of the security tag based on a determination that the verification signal has been received.
VERTICAL DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY
A vertical door latch assembly includes an electro-mechanical lock assembly and a rotatable engagement feature. A controller is in electrical communication with the electro-mechanical lock assembly. The controller is configured to direct the electro-mechanical lock assembly between a locking position with the electro-mechanical lock assembly in locking engagement with the rotatable engagement feature and a non-locking position with the electro-mechanical lock assembly in non-engagement with the rotatable engagement feature.
Lock having a security device for an automatic storage machine and automatic storage machine
The invention relates to a lock (1) which can be actively released and locked by control technology, particularly for use in automatic storage machines having a plurality of compartments with compartment doors (2) which are to be opened individually, and to an automatic storage machine having at least one such lock (1). The lock (1) comprises a detent pawl (14), which can lock a locking element (9), which is permanently connected to a compartment door (2), in the lock such that the compartment door (2) can be held in closed position. The lock further has a first electric drive element (17) which transitions the detent pawl (14) from the locking position to a release position upon the applying of electrical power, such that the compartment door (2) can be opened. The lock (1) further comprises a security device (32), which prevents an automatic reset of the detent pawl (14) from the release position to the locking position when the lock (1) is in an unpowered state or the automatic storage machine is in an unpowered state, and an unintentional, accidental or improper locking of a compartment door can thus be avoided. In order to properly lock a compartment door, the security device (32) of the lock (1) comprises a second electric drive element, by means of which the detent pawl (14) can be transitioned back to the locking position thereof upon the applying of electrical power to said second electric drive element during closing of the compartment door (2).
Locking apparatus for a rollup door or other movable object
A locking apparatus for a rollup door, comprising a striker member, latch assembly including a latch, a release lever, a trigger, a cam and a solenoid. The latch assembly may also include a limit switch for detecting when the latch assembly is in an unlocked position. The locking apparatus can be electronically unlocked or it can be unlocked manually by a user by actuating the solenoid which causes the latch to release the locked striker member.
DRAWER APPARATUS
The present invention provides a drawer apparatus capable of locking and unlocking a drawer without position control and motor stop control. A lock frame is released from the hook to be brought into an operable state by unidirectional rotation of a DC motor in an engaged state. A drawer is released from an anchor to be advanced out of the retracted position when the lock frame operates. A planetary gear unit is pushed by the lock frame. A small-diameter planetary gear is thereby shifted from the engaged state to a default state. The anchor is engaged with the drawer when the advanced drawer is pushed back to the retracted position. The hook is engaged with a lock when the advanced drawer is pushed back to the retracted position
Electromechanical locking latch
An electronic latch assembly includes a latch bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position; and a motor having a rotatable output shaft arrangement that is either directly or indirectly connected to the latch bolt for moving the latch bolt between the extended and retracted positions and rotating the output shaft arrangement between a first angular position in which the latch bolt is capable of being translated to the retracted position and a second angular position in which the latch bolt is locked and not capable of being translated to the retracted position.
WIRELESS ULTRA-LOW POWER PORTABLE LOCK
A wireless ultra-low power portable lock may be realized as a lock apparatus including: a locking mechanism having at least locked and unlocked states, the locking mechanism operable to provide physical resistance to being unlocked when in the locked state; an actuator operable to move the locking mechanism from the locked state to the unlocked state in response to a received signal; and a controlling unit configured to control the actuator and to receive one or more signals from one or more devices external to the lock apparatus.
Safety switch
A safety switch (2) with a latching unit (12), by means of which an associated actuator (3) is held in a latched position. The latching unit (12) has an opening (9) and a blocking element. In a latched position, the blocking element projects into the opening (9) and rear-engages an actuator head (8) of the actuator (3), which is in the latched position. The blocking element is held in the latched position by means of a positioning element with a setting force. When the actuator head (8) is inserted into or removed from the opening (9), the actuator head (8) pivots the blocking element out against the setting force.
SECURITY SYSTEM HAVING AN ELECTRONIC LOCK TO CONTROL ACCESS TO ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Example implementations relate to a security system having an electronic lock including latch and security modules, to control access to electronic devices. The latch module includes a receiver, a handle, and a torque member rotatably coupled to the receiver and handle. The receiver includes a first recess, a second recess, and a lobe to releasably engage the electronic device within the first recess. The security module includes a tension spring, an actuator, and a lock member having a first pin and a second pin. The tension spring is coupled to the lock member to engage the first pin to second recess when the latch module is in a latched configuration, and hold the security module in a lock-in position. The actuator is releasably engaged to the second pin for rotating the lock member to disengage the first pin from second recess, and release the security module from the lock-in position.
Portable Electronic Lock
A portable electronic lock has a lock body having a locking device and a closing hoop that is movable relative to the lock body between a closed position and an open position, wherein the closing hoop can be locked to the lock body by means of the locking device in the closed position. The lock at least has an electrical unit, an electrical energy source, a signal generator, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to monitor a charge level of the electrical energy source and to control the signal generator to output a charge level warning signal sequence in the form of the letter sequence “S-O-S” in accordance with Morse code if the charge level of the electrical energy source falls below a predetermined limit value.
