Portable Door Locking System
A portable door locking system includes a door that is hingedly positioned in a door jamb and the door includes a hinge. A locking unit is provided and the locking unit is selectively coupled to the hinge. The locking unit extends laterally between the door and the door jamb. In this way the door abuts the locking unit when the door is urged into an open position. The locking unit inhibits the door from being opened to inhibit an intruder from entering the room.
SLIDABLE LOCKING DEVICE
A slidable locking device is described that enables rotational movement like a hinge and also provides for selective locking. The slidable locking device may include a fixed hinge part, a rotatable hinge part, and a slidable hinge part. The fixed hinge part may include a first set of protrusions and openings. The slidable hinge part may also include a second corresponding set of protrusions and openings. The rotatable hinge part may also include a third corresponding set of protrusions and openings. The slidable hinge part may be slidably coupled to the fixed hinge part. The rotating hinge part may be rotatably coupled to the fixed hinge part. As the slidable hinge part moves longitudinally with respect to the fixed hinge part, the second set of protrusions and gaps alternatingly align with the first set of protrusions and gaps. This action may define a locked position and an unlocked position.
Door Handle with Electronic Lock Assembly
A door handle with electronic lock assemble comprises a door handle and a connecting rod. The door handle is deposited on a side of a door. The connecting rod is rotatable mounted on the door handle by crossing through the door. The door comprises a lock operatively connected with the door handle and the connecting rod. The door handle comprises an electronic module mounted therein. The electronic module comprises a controller, an actuator module and an electronic key interface. The controller and the actuator are signal connected. The electronic key interface is electronic connected with the controller.
Detent for Limiting the Motion of a Door Hinge
A security apparatus that functions as a detent which inhibits the motion of a door hinge. This security apparatus includes a back panel, a stop bracket, and a slotted hole. The back panel is a rigid plate that functions as a bar that inhibits the motion of a door. The back panel has a first panel edge and a second panel edge. The first panel edge and the second panel edge are edged are located at opposite ends of the back panel, forming it's the physical boundaries of the back panel. The stop bracket is a rigid beam that is connected to the first panel edge of the back panel. This enables the stop bracket to limit the distance a door hinge may travel through the slotted hole. The slotted hole is cut into the back panel from the second panel edge to next to the stop bracket.
POWERED HINGE MECHANISMS
A device can include a hinge mechanism rotatably coupling a first portion of the device to a second portion of the device. The hinge mechanism is configured to automatically open the device. The device can also include a damper configured to control a rate at which the hinge mechanism automatically opens the device. The hinge mechanism can include a spine hinge, a rolling contact hinge, a film hinge, or a geared link hinge.
Partition and closing system for partition
A partition door system includes a partition door, a stile, and a closing mechanism coupling the partition door to the stile, such that the closing mechanism provides a force for closing the door relative to the stile. A first magnet is at the partition door proximate the stile, and a second magnet is at the stile proximate the door. A partition door including a magnet, a stile including a magnet and a method of operating the same are also provided.
SIDE MOUNT CANOPY LOCKING AND RELEASING HINGE APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A CANOPY TO THE FUSELAGE OF A VEHICLE
This invention relates to a canopy locking and releasing apparatus for mounting a canopy to the fuselage of a vehicle. The canopy locking and releasing apparatus is comprised of several mechanisms. These include internal canopy locking and releasing mechanism, the external (Type A, B, or C) canopy locking and releasing mechanisms, a hinge plate and base mechanism, a hinge retaining pin, and a fuselage locking and releasing device for the hinge base. The apparatus is mounted on the sides of a canopy and attached to the cockpit of a vehicle. This apparatus allows for quick and easy opening of the canopy for routine or emergent access and driver entry or egress. An unique advantage of the canopy side mount locking and releasing hinge mechanism for vehicles is that the cockpit is easily accessible from either side of the vehicle, from the inside and outside of the vehicle, or if necessary, from both sides of the vehicle at once. Additionally, there is shown an alternative use for the internal locking and releasing mechanism and the retaining pin.
Safety gate
A safety gate includes a first column, disposed on a first side of an elevator shaft, a second column, disposed on a second side of the elevator shaft, a first gate panel, and a second gate panel. The first gate panel is coupled to the first column via a first locking hinge. The second gate panel is coupled to the second column via a second locking hinge.
Security device
A security device that can be activated or deactivated on the interior side of a door or window or other passageway barricade, and that can be activated or deactivated on the exterior side of the door with a special mechanism, such as a key, tool, transmitter, etc. The security device may be mounted to the hinge-side of a door, the knob-side of a door or in a scenario that includes a non-mullion double door, to the two adjoining portions of the doors at the middle joint.
