Lock mechanism
A lock mechanism includes a plug assembly, a transmission spindle, a bush and a latchbolt assembly. The transmission spindle is coupled to the plug assembly. The bush and the transmission spindle are coupled as one piece to allow the transmission spindle to drive the bush rotate. The latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt and an actuation element having an actuation hole. The bush, movably accommodated in the actuation hole, is provided to drive the actuation element in swinging movement to move the latchbolt. Because of the bush movably accommodated in the actuation hole, the latchbolt assembly can move toward or away from the plug assembly and the lock mechanism can be mounted on doors having different thicknesses.
Lock status indicator
Lock indicators useable to signal the locked or unlocked state of a lock where the lock indicator is usable with an adjustable rose for accommodating various door thicknesses.
Electronic cam lock for cabinet doors, drawers and other applications
A cam lock for cabinets, drawers, drug cabinets, credenzas, sliding doors, lockers, mail boxes and other door type applications is compact in size, fits an existing cam lock opening and provides electronic access via a keypad or other electronic access. Using batteries, such as AAA size batteries or smaller, the lock has electronics that release a lock turn knob or handle when the correct code is entered. Preferably a set of electronic contacts is included at an accessible position on the lock housing to allow both master access and power jumping with a common manager's implement, for situations of lost codes and/or battery failure. In a particular embodiment the lock is long, narrow and low in profile so as to fit on the margin of a steel or wood file cabinet, compatible with the cam lock opening already provided. The locks, NFC-enabled, can be used in securing delivery boxes to enable delivery access, when authorized.
MODULAR CYLINDRICAL LOCKSET
An exemplary product line system includes a common platform and a plurality of component families, each of which includes a plurality of interchangeable component species configured for use with the common platform. The common platform includes an inside drive assembly and a chassis assembly including a chassis and an outside drive assembly. A lockset assembled from the system includes the common platform and a plurality of modular components. Each of the modular components corresponds to a respective one of the component families, and is provided as a selected species of the corresponding component family. The lockset has a function defined by the set of component species installed to the lockset. The function of the lockset can be changed by altering the set of component species installed to the lockset without disassembling the chassis assembly.
Vehicle door handle assembly for different thickness doors
A handle and latch assembly is provided for a vehicle door and includes a housing, a latch on the housing and a handle on the housing. A mounting bracket secures the housing to the door using screws with the door being sandwiched between the housing and the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket can be positioned in multiple orientations to accommodate doors having different thicknesses. The housing includes tapered pins that that press fit onto the mounting bracket to provide a temporary hands-free positioning of the assembly into the door until the mounting screws are installed.

The function of the lockset can be changed by altering the set of component species installed to the lockset without disassembling the chassis assembly.
PUSH-PULL PASSAGE LOCK
A push-pull passage door lock comprising at least one handle, at least one lever, at least one rotating block, a slipping block, a latch bolt and a reset device for resetting the latch bolt. The lever, rotating block and slipping block are located inside the housing. The lever and rotating block are hinged to the housing. The rotating block comprises a rotation portion and a touch portion located at the two sides of an articulated shaft of the rotating block. One end of the lever is connected to the handle and the other end is adjacent the rotation portion. One end of the slipping block is connected to the latch bolt and the other end is adjacent the touch portion. The lever rotates the rotation portion of the rotating block, whereby the touch portion of the rotating block pushes up the slipping block and thereby retracts the latch bolt.
PUSH-PULL PASSAGE LOCK MOUNTING DEVICE ADAPTED TO DOORS IN VARIOUS SIZES
A push-pull passage lock mounting device is provided for use with doors of various thicknesses. The device, which comprises a first mounting plate, a second mounting plate, adjusting inserts, a central actuator block, a first threaded stud connected with the first mounting plate, a second threaded stud connected with the second mounting plate. The adjusting inserts are sleeved on the first threaded stud or the second threaded stud. The distance between the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate can be adjusted via the inserts so as to adapt to doors with various thicknesses.
Method for installing a lockset
A lockset is actuable by pivoting a handle about a longitudinal axis of the lockset by rotating the handle and by pivoting the handle about an axis transverse to the lockset axis, such as by pushing or pulling. The lockset includes an inside handle and an outside handle, each associated with an independent mechanism, each of which can independently actuate the lockset. A locking mechanism prevents actuation of a first one of the independent handle mechanisms without affecting operation of the other handle mechanism. Upon actuation of the other handle mechanism, a retractor engages a surface of the locking mechanism and removes it from engagement with the first locking mechanism. An adjustment ring has a first configuration that centers the lockset in a door having a first standard thickness and a second configuration that centers the lockset in a door having a second standard thickness.
