Latchbolt retractor, a latchbolt assembly, and an assembly for a lockset
A latchbolt retractor (12) is described herein. The latchbolt retractor (12) comprises a latchbolt retraction mechanism (30) mounted to a carriage (28). The latchbolt retraction mechanism (30) comprising a latchbolt assembly coupler (32) for operational coupling to a latchbolt assembly (22). The carriage (28) is configured to slide along at least one rail (14,16) for positioning the latchbolt assembly coupler (32) relative to the latchbolt.
Locking structure for cover covering handle seat
A locking structure for a cover covering a handle seat may include a cover placed to cover a disk-shaped handle seat mounted on a surface of a door and may include a cover locking mechanism, a handle seat-side locking portion, and a rotation prevention mechanism. The cover locking mechanism may include a plurality of protrusion-shaped cover-side locking portions protruding inward at circumferential intervals at an opening end edge of the cover. The handle seat-side locking portion may include a groove portion and a hooking groove portion to which the cover is hooked when the cover-side locking portion is inserted when the cover placed is rotated. The rotation prevention mechanism may include a biased latch arranged at the groove portion. The latch may have an engagement portion projecting and retracting with respect to a bottom surface of the groove portion.
EXIT TRIM WITH SIMPLIFIED LEVER HANDING
There is disclosed an exit trim that permits simplified changing of the handing of a lever handle between a left hand and a right hand orientation. The handing orientation of the lever handle can be repositioned without disassembling the exit trim or removing components positioned within the exit trim.
Exit trim with simplified lever handing
There is disclosed an exit trim that permits simplified changing of the handing of a lever handle between a left hand and a right hand orientation. The handing orientation of the lever handle can be repositioned without disassembling the exit trim or removing components positioned within the exit trim.
Reversible non-handed latch
A latch assembly with a first mounting plate and a second mounting plate. The assembly includes a first latch holder extending from the first mounting plate. A second latch holder is provided that extends from the second mounting plate. The assembly includes a latch arm including a first portion and a second portion. The latch arm is movable between an unlatched position and a latched position and is selectively reversible to be pivotally connected to either the first latch holder or the second latch holder.
Rotary latch plates
A rotary latch assembly is provided wherein the front plate has a C-shaped configuration with opposite top and bottom flanges, and an interconnecting front face. A back plate is connected to the front plate for use in right-handed and left-handed applications. One or more trip levers are mounted on the plates to release the catch and rotor from a latched position. An embossment is provided on the front plate to strengthen the assembly and to support the rotor and the catch. Indicia is provided on the latch assembly to provide for ease of alignment with the striker for proper latching.
Rotary latch with modular components
A rotary latch assembly is provided which can be configured as right-handed and left-handed using the same rotor and catch components, without reconfiguring the front and back plates. The axles for the rotor and catch are identical so that the rotor and catch can be interchanged on the axles. The latch biasing springs are mirror images so as to be used on either the rotor or the catch. The latch includes multiple connection points for single or dual actuators, and a lifting block to align the assembly with a striker.
IMPROVED DOOR LATCH
A sliding door handle and strike assembly includes a locking member for engaging the strike to prevent the door from opening. The locking member is biased to an unlocked position, until it is moved into a locking position, in which magnetic co-operation acts to hold the locking member in the locking position.
Bolt module
A bolt module is disclosed. The bolt module comprises: a bolt moveable between a thrown position and a retracted position; an anti-thrust member moveable between a release position in which the bolt can be retracted and a plurality of blocking positions obstructing driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt and, a first rotor assembly capable of accepting a drive element, the first rotor assembly arranged to drive the bolt and to move the anti-thrust member between the plurality of blocking positions and the release position. Each of the plurality of blocking positions may respectively limit to different extents the driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt. There is also disclosed a leaf or door comprising the bolt module, wherein the bolt module is mounted on the leaf or door for securing the leaf or door.
Locking system for a door
The locking system is provided for controlling the unlocking of a door by an electronic key. The locking system has a first pack configured to be received within a first recessed area of the door, the first pack having an actuator configured and adapted to move a bolt slidingly housed in the lock pack; a second pack configured to be received within a second recessed area of the door; a reader interface adapted to receive an input from the electronic key and a controller adapted to receive the input from the reader interface, authenticate the input, and control the actuator based on the authentication.
