USE OF PHOTOTHERMAL AGENTS IN AIR FILTERS
A photothermal composition configured to be used in air filter for destroying bioaerosol particles by converting light energy emitted from a light source into heat energy including a photothermal agent is provided. The present invention also concerns an air filter for collecting the bioaerosol particles in an air flow and destroying said bioaerosol particles deposited thereon, including a photothermal agent which converts light energy emitted from a light source into heat energy.

APPARATUS FOR THE STERILIZATION OF AMBIENT AIR BY MEANS OF A LASER RAYS FILTER
A device for sterilizing air from any bacterium, virus, dust or other organic or non-organic body present in the air of a public or private space, using a sterilization chamber having a laser beam filter is provided. A dense network of laser beams which saturate the sterilization chamber is created. The air forced to go through the sterilization chamber causes every small particle, bacterium and virus of any size to impact on the laser beams, pulverizing, destroying and/or neutralizing itself completely by the large beam energy irradiated for a time ranging from 0.5 to 2 seconds.

Intelligent air shield formation device for preventing infection
The present invention provides an intelligent air shield formation device, having a plurality of nozzles are configured to discharge purified air towards ground, detecting a body region of the detected person, generating region information, controlling the plurality of nozzles corresponding to the region information, generating movement information based on a speed of movement of the body region, controlling the shape of the region information to be deformed based on the movement information.
MULTIVALENCE SEMICONDUCTOR PHOTOCATALYTIC MATERIALS
Described herein are heterogeneous materials comprising a p-type semiconductor comprising two metal oxide compounds of the same metal in two different oxidation states and an n-type semiconductor having a deeper valence band than the p-type semiconductor valence bands, wherein the semiconductor types are in ionic communication with each other. The heterogeneous materials enhance photocatalytic activity.

Household appliance having a catalytically effective surface and method for the operation thereof
The invention relates to a household appliance, which comprises at least one catalytically effective substance in a surface, wherein the catalytically effective substance is a polyoxometalate that is comprised in an inner an/or outer surface of the household appliance, provided that the polyoxometalate is comprised at least in an outer surface of the household appliance if the household appliance is a water-bearing household appliance having a container for receiving objects to be cleaned. The invention further relates to a method for operating the household appliance.
METHOD FOR INACTIVATION OF A PATHOGEN COLONY IN SPACES, SURFACES AND OBJECTS USING ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
A method for the inactivation of viruses and/or bacteria by at least 50%, or the disinfection and sanitization from bacteria and/or viruses, in spaces, surfaces or objects uses an electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength comprised between 410 nm and 430 nm. In particular, it relates to irradiating the area to be disinfected or sanitized with an electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength comprised between 410 nm and 430 nm for a time interval between 5 minutes and 180 minutes, a power density comprised between 13 mW/cm.sup.2 and 120 mW/cm.sup.2 and an energy density comprised between 30 J/cm.sup.2 and 220 J/cm.sup.2. The electromagnetic radiation is irradiated at a distance between the source of the electromagnetic radiation and the irradiated space, surface or object between 30 centimeters to 1.5 meters.
Systems for Avoiding Contamination and Accumulation of Airborne Pathogens
In one embodiment, systems and methods for reducing infections from a pathogen by influencing transport of the pathogen. A material is positioned in a location where a pathogen may be transmitted from a person and through a volume of air about the person. The material is provided with a net electric charge sufficient to create a measurable electric field extending from the material. To the extent the pathogen becomes positioned along a portion of the material, a treatment is applied about the material portion to disable the infectious nature of the pathogen.
