Controllable door lock
A storage lock for a storage door, the lock comprising a lock housing for mounting to the storage door or a storage frame supporting the door; and a lock mechanism arranged within the lock housing, the lock mechanism comprising a latch selectively operable between a locked position in which the latch is extended to engage with the other of the storage door and storage frame to block against opening of the storage door, and an unlocked position in which the latch is retracted to disengage from the other of the storage door and storage frame to allow the storage door to be opened for access to storage, and a latch control system selectively operable between a restricted position to block against operation of the latch out from the locked position, and an unrestricted position to permit operation of the latch out from the locked position to the unlocked position.
Lock for slideable fenestration
Disclosed herein is a fenestration assembly. The assembly includes a movable sash assembly, a first lock counterpart connected to the movable sash assembly, a fixed sash assembly, a second lock counterpart connected to the fixed sash assembly, and a sill configuration. While the fixed sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration, and while the movable sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration at a first height, the movable sash assembly is lockable to the fixed sash assembly. While the fixed sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration, and while the movable sash assembly is mounted to the sill configuration at a second height, the movable sash assembly is lockable to the fixed sash assembly. While there is an absence of locking between the movable and fixed sash assemblies, the movable sash assembly is movable relative to the sill configuration.
Locking assembly for sliding doors
An exemplary method includes placing a first adhesive on a first surface of a strike plate, wherein the strike plate includes a pocket extending into a second surface of the strike plate opposite the first surface of the strike plate. The method further includes placing a second adhesive on a first surface of a lock module, wherein the lock module includes a bolt operable to extend beyond a second surface of the lock module. The method further includes aligning the pocket with the bolt such that the bolt is operable to extend into the pocket; and with the pocket and the bolt aligned with one another, releasably joining the strike plate and the lock module with a releasable coupler, thereby forming an aligned locking assembly.
CONTROLLABLE DOOR LOCK
A self-storage lock assembly for a self-storage door can include a lock housing for mounting to the self-storage door and a lock mechanism arranged within the lock housing. The lock mechanism can include a latch selectively operable between a locked position in which the latch is extended from the lock housing to engage with a self-storage door frame supporting the self-storage door to block against opening of the self-storage door, and an unlocked position in which the latch is retracted relative to the lock housing to disengage from the self-storage door frame to allow the self-storage door to be opened for access to self-storage. A latch control system can be selectively operate between a restricted state to block against operation of the latch out from the locked position, and an unrestricted state to permit operation of the latch out from the locked position.
