Locking device for window or door and method of operating thereof
11927038 · 2024-03-12 · ·

A locking device for a window or a door, wherein the window or the door has a sash slidable in a horizontal direction within a frame. When a user turns on a switch to control a block to move from the first position to the second position, the block protrudes out of a vertical surface of the sash, thereby driving a linkage member to disengage from the frame. At this time, the user could hold and push the block in the horizontal direction to move the sash between a third position and a fourth position. When the sash is pushed back to the third position, the block could be controlled to move back to the first position, namely back to a mounting groove, thereby moving the linkage member to a position where the linkage member is engaged with the frame. A method of operating thereof is provided as well.

An exemplary lockset includes a mortise case, a magnet assembly mounted in the mortise case, and a manual actuator operable to move the magnet assembly between a coupling position in which a first magnet of the magnet assembly is aligned with a reference point and a decoupling position in which the first magnet is misaligned with the reference point. In certain embodiments, the magnet assembly further includes a second magnet having an opposite polarity as the first magnet, and the second magnet is misaligned with the reference point when the magnet assembly is in the coupling position and is aligned with the reference point when the magnet assembly is in the decoupling position.

The present invention consists of aluminium framework for the manufacture of doors or windows, which is applied in a door or window opening of a building. It comprises at least one fixed frame (1) and fixed or movable panels (4) which have central (6) and reinforcing (5) props, handles (3) (7), anti-pollen/mosquito net (9) winder integrated into a profile (10). It has a locking system (2) of the panels (4), which is integrated in the aluminium profiles of the fixed frame (1); a locking system (8) of the anti-pollen/mosquito net (9) allowing the profile (11) of the net (9) to be attached to the handle (7). The movements of the net (9) and the panels (4) can be performed either manually or automatically, in both cases this movement being facilitated by a slide rule (13) with integrated bearings.

Means for securing against operating errors for leaves of a window or door that can be slid together

A fitting assembly has a device for securing against operating errors that has a first protrusion which can be moved relative to a second protrusion by means of a first operating rod assembly. A buffer can be provided between the end sides of the first protrusion and the second protrusion. The first protrusion can be a cylinder and/or the second protrusion can extend in an elongated manner. The fitting assembly can have an anti-lifting device with a third protrusion which prevents a lifting of the first leaf. The fitting assembly has multiple carriages and multiple sliders in order to position leaves of the window or the door into their slide position in parallel with the main plane of the window or the door. In the blocking position, the leaves can be pressed against a fixed frame of the window or the door via the fitting assembly with multiple carriages and multiple sliders, in order to reliably seal the window or the door.
