Window Locking Apparatus
A window locking apparatus includes a proximal cross brace, a distal cross brace, a first track brace, and a second track brace. The first track brace is positioned parallel to the second track brace. The proximal cross brace is perpendicularly positioned in between the first track brace and the second track brace. The distal cross brace is perpendicularly positioned in between the first track brace and the second track brace, wherein the proximal cross brace and the distal cross brace are positioned offset of each other. The proximal cross brace is rotatably connected to the first track brace and removably mounted to the second track brace. The distal cross brace is rotatably connected to the first track brace and removably mounted to the second track brace. The removable connections of the second track brace allows the window locking apparatus to be installed or removed from a window.
Lock assembly for sliding door latch
A lock and strike assembly is disclosed which is coupled to a latch assembly for a sliding door. The latch assembly includes a movable tongue or latch bar with two oppositely disposed catches. The lock assembly includes a housing, a solenoid housing having a solenoid coupled to a d.c. power source and controlling electronics. The solenoid is coupled to a trapezoidal shaped dog which is pivotally coupled to the solenoid housing for reciprocal movement between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The strike assembly is mounted to the lock assembly for locking engagement with the catch of the latch assembly.
SMART FOR REMOTE OPENING AND CLOSING A DOOR
A smart delivery box and method for securing the delivery of packages. The method involves (a) ascertaining when a delivery vehicle has entered a geo-location associated with a delivery address of a package, (b) transmitting a delivery signal to a cloud computing service when the delivery vehicle is ascertained as entering the geo-location associated with the delivery address of the package, and configuring a door of a delivery box, located at the delivery address, to open for the delivery and receipt of the package, in response to an open command generated by the cloud computing service in reply to the delivery signal transmitted when the delivery vehicle entered the geo-location.
Receptacle locking device
Receptacle locking devices are disclosed. A receptacle locking device having a contact arm and a pivoting feature can be pivoted from a first, unlocked position to a second, locked position, wherein the contact arm prevents opening of the receptacle door when the locking device is in the second, locked position.
Securing Apparatus and Method
A securing apparatus is provided for securing, in one embodiment, a plurality of enclosures, such as for example, a plurality of electric meter boxes, the apparatus being mountable to the at least one of the plurality of enclosures. The securing apparatus comprises an enclosure locking member which includes at least a bracket arm, a fastening member and a housing mountable to at least one enclosure; the securing apparatus further comprises a securing member having first and second ends, with the securing member including at least a securing bar and a coupling member being moveably attachable to the securing bar, wherein the coupling member is pivotably mateable with the extended flange of the enclosure locking member.
Method and system for adjustable safety locks
A method and an adjustable locking system for sliding windows and/or sliding doors are provided. The adjustable locking system includes a slide rail, a jammer bar, and a sliding spring-loaded pull pin lock. The slide rail mounts flush to the action portion of the sliding window or sliding door frame. The spring loaded locking pin is attached to the jammer bar which slides through the slide rail; engaging in a series of optional locking points allowing the window or door to be securely locked anywhere in between fully open to fully closed.
Garage door window
This invention is directed toward an adjustable window for a garage door panel, where the window has an interior frame and an exterior frame. Both the interior and exterior frame have straight members that are secured to each other through the parts of the garage door that surround the opening with screws and screw receptacles. Connecting the frame members are adjustable corner braces that come in a variety of designs, with some being invisible after installation and others forming a decorative “corner” to the window.
Smart system for remote opening and closing a door or window
A smart window/door opening-closing device that can easily be installed for use with an existing door or window or can be built-in by the door or window manufacturer, can be programmed to activate the opening or closing of the door or window either (a) remotely, (b) automatically by a pet and/or (c) automatically by a voice command, is easily disengaged when use is not desired, provides safety and security to prevent unwanted opening or closing of the door or window, and is integrated with a wireless communication network to enable smart and remote control of the window/door actuator.
SMART SYSTEM FOR REMOTE OPENING AND CLOSING A DOOR OR WINDOW
A smart window/door opening-closing device that can easily be installed for use with an existing door or window or can be built-in by the door or window manufacturer, can be programmed to activate the opening or closing of the door or window either (a) remotely, (b) automatically by a pet, (c) automatically by a voice command and/or (d) automatic in response to external sensors, is easily disengaged when use is not desired, provides safety and security to prevent unwanted opening or closing of the door or window, and is integrated with a wireless communication network to enable smart and remote control of the window/door actuator.
Sliding Security Door with Passive Deadlock Prevention
In a high-security sliding-door apparatus for closing and opening a corridor, the door having (a) a door frame having a track and a bi-directional effector, (b) a carriage having track-engaging rollers, (c) a slide plate slidably secured to the carriage and driven by the effector, and (d) a controller controlling slide-plate movement and enabling the door to be continuously closed but not locked, the improvement comprising centering apparatus for relative positioning of the slide plate and carriage, the centering apparatus including (1) a yoke attached to the slide plate at a yoke pivot and having a yoke cam surface thereabove, (2) a carriage-attached yoke-cam follower, and (3) springs having proximal ends attached to the yoke spaced above the yoke pivot and distal ends each attached to the carriage at points offset from the yoke pivot in opposite lateral directions, centering the door with the slide plate when unlocked.
