Pass Through Access Opening Closure Device
A closure device for a prison or hospital door having an access opening therethrough enables articles to be passed through the door without endangering the guard or hospital worker delivering the articles. The closure device includes a rectangular box having a top surface formed with a transparent panel, a hinged front access door, a vertically slidable rear access gate and an actuation mechanism for controlling the movement of the gate. The actuation mechanism has a pivoted actuator handle coupled to the rear gate to affect vertical movement thereof and a spring-loaded supplemental lock that requires release against a lock bar secured to the rear gate before the actuator handle can be moved. The rectangular box can have two opposing side walls or be formed with an open side that closes against a cover member secured to the door frame to close the open side of the box.
DOOR STOP MECHANISM
A door stopping mechanism for a sliding glazing patio door or like, independent in construction from the sliding glazing for which it is stopping, includes a vertical and horizontal component. The horizontal component is within the track of the door, while the vertical component is selectively attached to the sliding member. The mechanism is changeable from a locked to unlocked position by manipulation by a user at mid-height of the door, and at least one of the locked or unlocked positions is maintained by gravity.
Ergonomic Sliding Panel Security Shaft
A sliding panel security shaft for securing doors and windows with a locking extendable shaft and an ergonomic vertical handle that extends to approximately the height of a persons hands when standing allowing the user to install and remove the shaft from the frame of a sliding panel without bending over.
SMART SYSTEM FOR REMOTE OPENING AND CLOSING A DOOR OR WINDOW
A smart window/door opening-closing device that can easily be installed for use with an existing door or window or can be built-in by the door or window manufacturer, can be programmed to activate the opening or closing of the door or window either (a) remotely, (b) automatically by a pet and/or (c) automatically by a voice command, is easily disengaged when use is not desired, provides safety and security to prevent unwanted opening or closing of the door or window, and is integrated with a wireless communication network to enable smart and remote control of the window/door actuator.
DOOR CLOSING APPARATUS
A door closing apparatus includes a first rotary electric motor that is configured to rotate a first pinion to open and close a first door body; and a second rotary electric motor that is provided separately from the first rotary electric motor and configured to rotate a second pinion to open and close a second door body.
Secure locking device for sliding doors and windows
A device for placing in a sliding door or sliding window frame that adds additional security to prevent a sliding door or sliding window from being opened. The device is a secure locking device which comprises of a main bar and a lever bar that are connected to each other such that lever bar may pivot where it is connected to the main bar. The main bar is adjustable such that a length may be adjusted to allow the secure locking device to fit within varied sizes of sliding door/window frames. The secure locking device is also comprised of a locking mechanism that is controlled by a lever actuator and a lock button which are configured onto the main bar. The secure locking device is easily accessible by a user to lock and unlock in order to secure and unsecure the sliding door. The secure locking device is easy to position in a track of the sliding panel and does not require any need to secure into place.
RECEPTACLE LOCKING DEVICE
Receptacle locking devices are disclosed. A receptacle locking device having a contact arm and a pivoting feature can be pivoted from a first, unlocked position to a second, locked position, wherein the contact arm prevents opening of the receptacle door when the locking device is in the second, locked position.
LATCH FOR EXPANDABLE GATE
A variable width gate adapted to be manipulated to secure the gate within the boundary of an opening, the gate comprising two gate members mounted for sliding movement with respect to each other and each having a lever associated therewith and a releasable locking member for locking the respective levers with respect to relative motion therebetween.
Sliding Door Stop
A door stop for a sliding door assembly includes a support member configured to extend parallel to the passive panel of the sliding door assembly, and a projecting member mounted for movement along the length of the support member. The projecting member extends perpendicular to the passive panel and blocks movement of the active panel of the sliding door assembly in one direction. The support member may be adjustable in length. A releasable locking mechanism for securing the projecting member in a desired location is also provided.
