A push pad exit device comprising a horizontal push bar actuator mechanically linked to a vertical door handle assembly, for use on the interior side of entrance doors where a means of emergency egress is desired, is presented. The operating mechanisms of the push bar actuator and vertical door handle assembly are concealed presenting a smooth uncluttered appearance. In one mode of operation, the push pad actuator may be moved inwards towards the door face causing the door to unlatch. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a “dogging feature” which locks the push bar actuator in the unlatched position. In this mode of operation the door is unlatched and the push pad actuator may be used as a fixed door handle. The push pad exit device may also be equipped with a keyed lock on an external face of the door.

EXIT DEVICE TRIM LOCKING

An exemplary trim lock device is configured for use with a trim comprising a lift finger, and generally includes a housing, a blocking member, and a lock actuator. The blocking member includes a projection, and is rotatably mounted to the housing for rotation between a blocking position in which the projection blocks actuating movement of the lift finger and an unblocking position in which the blocking member does not block actuating movement of the lift finger. The lock actuator is operable to rotate the blocking member between the blocking position and the unblocking position.

CROSS BAR TYPE UNIVERSAL LOCK-DRIVING STRUCTURE
20210140201 · 2021-05-13 ·

A cross bar type universal lock-driving structure to be mounted in a panel-outside space of a door panel has a horizontal channel and a vertical channel for being universally assembled to one of a single-point lock, a double-point lock, a three-point lock, a vertical single-point lock, an embedded lock cartridge and an embedded vertical double-point lock-driving structure. The cross bar type universal lock-driving structure includes a handle-end base, a cross bar type handle assembly and a driving member. The handle-end base, deposed in the panel-outside space of the door panel, is furnished with a through hole. The cross bar type handle assembly is pivotally connected with the handle-end base. The driving member, connected fixedly with the cross bar type handle assembly, is to contact a driven unit of one of the single-point lock, the double-point lock, the three-point lock, the vertical single-point lock, the embedded lock cartridge and the embedded vertical double-point lock-driving structure, and drives the driven unit.

MODULAR SURFACE MOUNTED ELECTRIC STRIKE

A modular surface mounted electric strike system is provided. The system comprises a universal base plate having first and second sides, each having first and second mounting points. Each electric strike module includes a header, a keeper assembly, and an actuator assembly configured for moving between a keeper blocking mode and a second mode. When the first and second latches are separated a first distance, the first and second electric strike modules are attached to the first mounting locations on the respective first and second sides of the base plate. When the first and second latches are separated a second distance, the first electric strike module is attached to the second mounting location on either the first or second sides of the base plate, and the second electric strike module is attached to the second mounting location on the other of the first or second side of the base plate.

SURFACE MOUNTED ELECTRIC STRIKE

A surface mounted electric strike for selectively retaining a door latch of a door is provided. The electric strike comprises a housing mounted to a surface of the door frame, wherein the housing defines a cavity configured for receiving the door latch. A keeper is mounted within the housing and movable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The keeper includes a keeper body portion and an extended lobe portion having a terminal end. An actuating assembly is configured for moving between a first mode and a second mode, wherein when the actuating assembly is in the first mode the keeper is prevented from moving toward the unlatched position, and wherein when the actuating assembly is in the second mode the keeper is permitted to move toward the unlatched position.

Push Pad Exit Device for Emergency Door Egress and Vertical Latch Bolt Assembly

A push pad exit device comprising a horizontal push bar actuator mechanically linked to a vertical door handle assembly for use on the interior side of entrance doors where a means of emergency egress is desired, is presented. The operating mechanisms of the push bar actuator and vertical door handle assembly are concealed presenting a smooth uncluttered appearance. The push pad exit device further including an improved roller latch bolt. The improved roller latch bolt allows for a roller to make contact with a ramp surface of a corresponding strike plate on a sweep side of the plate and allows for the roller support to make contact with the strike plate on a latch side of the plate.

EXIT DEVICE ASSEMBLY

An exit device assembly for use in association with a door having a top, a bottom and a generally vertical surface. The exit door assembly includes an exit device configured to be mounted on the surface of the door, the exit device including a manually movable member, a latch mechanism configured to be mounted adjacent one of the top and the bottom of the door, the latch mechanism including a latch movable between a locking position and a non-locking position, and a non-rigid device for causing movement of the latch in response to movement of the manually movable member.

Mortise lock with multi-point latch system

An adapter and interface permits a standard mortise lock to drive top and bottom latch mechanisms of a multi-point lock system. An actuator permits in situ adjustment of the top and bottom vertical latch projections of adjusting these projections while the door is hung in the door frame. An installation tool assists in the installation of the vertical rods in a door. A connector and carrier secures the vertical rods to the actuator and permits verification of retention of the rods in a multi-point latching system. A latch dogging indicator allows for end-user adjustment between a single-point lock and a multi-point lock system when desired. These different aspects may be employed in combination or separately with other locking systems.
