There is provided a touch bar assembly for releasing a bolt, the touch bar assembly comprising: a touch bar for actuation by a user; an action slider coupled to the touch bar for retracting the bolt; a motor arranged to drive a linear actuator between a retracted position, a neutral position and a blocking position, the linear actuator coupled to the action slider by a coupling, wherein the linear actuator and coupling are configured such that in the blocking position retraction of the action slider is blocked, and the coupling couples motion of the linear actuator from the neutral position to the retracted position into retraction of the action slider to retract the bolt. There may also be provided a motor assembly with brake.

Inner operating device for a door lock
10060161 · 2018-08-28 ·

An inner operating device for a door lock is mounted to an inner side of a door and includes a first detecting member electrically connected to an electric driving device. A second detecting member is mounted in a latch device of the door lock. When the first detecting member detects an external force applied to the inner operating device, the electric driving device is activated, and the latch is moved to the unlatching position. When the latch device is set to be in a locked state or an unlocked state, the second detecting device outputs a signal to a lighting device to emit light for indicating the locked or unlocked state. In another example, the lighting device emits light of a first color when the latch device is in the locked state and emits light of a second color when the latch device is in the unlocked state.

Latch
10047549 · 2018-08-14 · ·

A latch includes a first locking bolt, where a first extended position of the first locking bolt defines a first locked condition and a first retracted position defines a first unlocked condition. The latch also includes a second locking bolt, where a second extended position of the second locking bolt defines a second locked condition and a second retracted position defines a second unlocked condition. A biasing member operatively connects to the first locking bolt to bias the first locking bolt in the first extended position. A lever pivotally connects to the housing and operatively connects to the first locking bolt such that movement of the lever from a closed position to an opened position causes at least the first locking bolt to move from the first extended position to the first retracted position. A locking indicator is provided in associated with the second locking bolt.

QUIET LATCH FOR A LOCKING DEVICE

A locking device for a door located at a door frame having a door strike. The locking device includes an actuator having a neutral position and a displaced position, and a latchbolt assembly having an extended position configured to engage the door strike, and a retracted position configured to move past the door strike. The latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt link configured to move the latchbolt in response to movement of the actuator. A first dampening device is disposed adjacent to the latchbolt link, with the dampening device resiliently engaging the latchbolt link as the latchbolt link moves from the retracted position to the extended position. The first dampening device limits movement of the latchbolt link. A second dampening device is configured to restrain movement of the latchbolt during movement from the retracted position to the extended position.

Humanized convenient door lock

A humanized convenient door lock includes a lock housing, a latch, a security hook, an outside handle operation mechanism, an inside handle operation mechanism, a cylinder driving mechanism, and an inside deadlocking rotary knob driving mechanism. The inside handle operation mechanism drives and controls the latch, the security hook, and the inside deadlocking rotary knob driving mechanism. To open the door, it only needs a one-time operation by pressing down a handle, thereby providing ease and convenience. The design is a humanized one, making it particularly suit for the needs of the disabled and the elderly and for urgent door opening.

A visual indicator of lock status is disclosed. An operation indicator signaling to an operator a lock operator input direction and an unlock operator input direction to signal to the operator operations that will lock and unlock the locking device is also disclosed.

Lock structure

A lock structure includes a case, a first latch, a second latch, a transmission member, a transmission module, a swaying plate and a driving plate, wherein the transmission module is rotated to drive the swaying plate and the transmission member to perform swing action for making the swaying plate driving the first latch being hidden into the case. In addition, the driving plate moves upwardly by swing action of the transmission member, and the driving plate drives the second latch in operation for making the second latch being hidden into the case.

Interconnected lock with direct drive for adjustable deadbolt to latchbolt spacing

An interconnected lock for use on a door, where the lock has adjustable offset spacing between a deadbolt and latchbolt. The lock includes first and second shafts for actuating the deadbolt lock mechanism, at different offset spacings. A linkage arm connected to and moveable by the latchbolt actuator is alternately connectable to rotate either the first or second deadbolt-actuating shaft. The linkage arm has first and second upper positions, for alternate connection to rotate the first and second deadbolt-actuating shafts, respectively. Upon operation of the interior actuator, the linkage arm moves the deadbolt along the second axis from the latched to the unlatched position at the same time that the operation of the interior actuator moves the latchbolt along the first axis from the latched to the unlatched position.
