Further, this disclosure discloses a sleeve to enable a restraint device to be converted from a chain style into a hinge style and vice versa. Additionally, this disclosure discloses a restraint device including a first arm and a second arm, where the second arm is elastically coupled to the first arm in order to avoid overtightening when restraining.
Transportable device for preventing a loss of a movable object
The invention relates to a transportable device for preventing a loss of a movable object, comprising a protective housing (2) for protecting the device (1), an electronic alarm device (35), which is arranged in the protective housing (2) and has an anti-theft alarm function, and fastening means (11) for detachably fastening the device (1) to the movable object, wherein the fastening means (11) comprise at least one wrap-around element (12; 46; 52; 59; 68) for wrapping around at least one part of the movable object and wherein the wrap-around elements (12; 46; 52; 59; 68) can be fixed by means of locking elements (19, 20, 21; 49, 50, 51; 55, 57, 58; 61, 63, 64, 65; 71, 72, 73), which are arranged in the protective housing (2), wherein the locking elements (19, 20, 21; 49, 50, 51; 55, 57, 58; 61, 63, 64, 65; 71, 72, 73) can be selectively opened and closed by means of a lock device (13) rigidly connected to the protective housing (2), and wherein additionally the protective housing (2) can be selectively opened and rigidly connected to the protective housing (2), and wherein additionally the protective housing (2) can be selectively opened and closed by means of said lock device (13) and access to at least one chamber (18, 33) in the protective housing (2) is thereby enabled.
LOCK ASSEMBLY FOR SECURING A WHEELED VEHICLE
The housing of a lock assembly for securing a wheeled vehicle contains a cable which is wound around a cable reel within the housing. The cable reel rotates around a reel axis and has two ends. The first end of the cable is connected to the cable reel while the second end of the cable has a locking feature. A lock core has a receptacle configured to receive the locking feature at the end of the cable. An axis of the core is substantially parallel to the reel axis.
Cable locking device
A cable locking device includes a housing, a cable extending outward through a cable passage in the housing and terminating at a cable end connector receivable in a cable connection port in the housing, and a locking mechanism assembled with the housing and movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. When the locking mechanism is in the locked position, a first cable securing portion secures the cable against movement within the cable passage in at least an outward direction, and a second cable securing portion secures the cable end connector within the cable connection port. When the locking mechanism is in the unlocked position, the first cable securing portion permits movement of the cable within the cable passage in the outward direction, and the second cable securing portion permits removal of the cable end connector from the cable connection port.
Bicycle security devices and system
A bicycle security device and associated bicycle theft alert or security systems are described. In some embodiments, the security devices and systems are configured to deter theft or other unauthorized uses of a bicycle, such as an electric bicycle, by providing multiple points or mechanisms of protection for the bicycle. For example, a bicycle security device, or bike lock, can include a cable or tether component integrated with a shackle of a wheel lock mechanism, which enables a rider to secure his/her bicycle via two integrated mechanisms of deterrence or protection within the bike lock.
Securement device for use in vehicles
A securement device for use in a vehicle. The device includes a retainer for holding or storing an object such as a firearm. The device utilizes an inflatable pillow to hold the device in position in the vehicle. It also includes an attachment that couples to the retainer and allows for adjustment of the orientation of the retainer.
PASSIVE CONTINUITY MONITORING DEVICE WITH ACTIVE FEATURES
A passive continuity monitoring device is disclosed. This device can be used to protect a lock or other locking device and to indicate when a breach of the lock has occurred. The lock can include a connector with a magnet at one end spaced from an other magnet. The connector can be held in tension when the lock is engaged to maintain the spacing between the magnets. A breach in the loop of the system will cause the magnets to touch and complete a circuit. The completion of the circuit can trigger an alarm, can take a picture of the surrounding area, and can transmit a signal to interested parties.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC LOCK
A portable electronic lock for luggage, comprising: a housing and a securement member in cooperation with the housing to secure an item to the lock; a locking mechanism in the housing in communication with the securement member to releasably secure the securement member to the housing; a communications module in the housing for operating the locking mechanism to release and secure the securement member in response to a wireless signal; and a secondary release system for releasing the locking mechanism, wherein the secondary release system is selectively operable by a user.
Cable lock systems and methods
A smart cable lock is provided that is configured to mechanically secure items and provide an automatic determination that securing is achieved. The smart cable may be integrated into a vehicle, or otherwise may communicate with a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more ports configured to house the cable when not in use. In some embodiments, an accessory includes one or more ports configured to engage with the connector. In some embodiments, the cable is affixed to the vehicle at one end, using a retractor, for example, and can be unspooled, intertwined with equipment, and then secured to a port on the vehicle. The smart cable lock secures and releases a latch based on user indications and authorizations. For example, if the cable is destroyed or damaged, or an unauthorized indication is made, the cable lock system may sound an alarm, or otherwise alert the user.
