Portable electronic lock
A portable electronic lock for luggage, comprising: a housing and a securement member in cooperation with the housing to secure an item to the lock; a locking mechanism in the housing in communication with the securement member to releasably secure the securement member to the housing; a communications module in the housing for operating the locking mechanism to release and secure the securement member in response to a wireless signal; and a secondary release system for releasing the locking mechanism, wherein the secondary release system is selectively operable by a user.
ATTACK-RESISTANT RING LOCK
An exemplary ring lock generally includes a case, a shackle, and a lock mechanism. The shackle is movably mounted to the case. The lock mechanism is operable to selectively retain the shackle in a closed position. The case includes a first case portion including a first flange, and a second case portion including a second flange. In certain forms, the first flange and the second flange are welded to one another. In certain forms, the first flange and/or the second flange has a depth of one centimeter or less. In certain forms, the case includes at least one ramp configured to discourage gripping of the case.

RING LOCK WITH RELOCKING
An exemplary ring lock generally includes a housing, a shackle, a lock cylinder, and a first frangible component. The shackle is movable relative to the housing between an open position and a closed position. The lock cylinder is operable to maintain the shackle in the closed position, and is selectively operable to permit movement of the shackle from the closed position to the open position. The first frangible component is configured to break in response to application of a first threshold torque to the lock cylinder. With the first frangible component broken, the lock cylinder is prevented from permitting movement of the shackle from the closed position to the open position.

PORTABLE LOCK APPARATUS WITH STATUS INDICATOR
An example ring lock generally includes a housing, a shackle, a lock mechanism, and an indicator. The shackle is mounted to the housing for movement between a first position and a second position. The lock mechanism is configured to selectively retain the shackle in at least one of the first position or the second position. The indicator is operable to selectively display an indicium related to an open/closed state of the ring lock. The indicator is configured to display the indicium when the shackle is in the first position, and is configured to not display the indicium when the shackle is in the second position.

LOCKS AND WATERPROOF STRUCTURES THEREOF
Locks for resisting water and/or foreign matters are provided. The lock may include a lock tongue configured to secure an object, a lock pin configured to block the lock tongue to move along an axial direction of the lock tongue, a lock shell configured to accommodate at least a portion of the lock tongue or at least a portion of the lock pin, and a waterproof pipe arranged around at least a portion of the lock pin. The lock shell may include a through-hole. At least a portion of the lock pin may be moveable inward or outward the lock shell through the through-hole. The waterproof pipe may include a first connection end and a second connection end. The first connection end of the waterproof pipe may connect to the lock shell. The second connection end of the waterproof pipe may connect to the lock pin.

Systems and methods for unlocking a lock
A method for unlocking a lock may include receiving, via a network, a first service request to unlock a lock from a terminal device. The first service request may be associated with a wireless connection between the lock and the terminal device. The method may also include transmitting, via the network, a password associated with the first service request to the terminal device and receiving an input associated with the terminal device. The method may further include determining whether the received input satisfies an unlocking condition and actuating, based on a result of the determination that the received input satisfies the unlocking condition, a locking mechanism to unlock the lock.
