Locking system and use thereof
A locking system for locking of an enclosure that is provided with at least one and preferably two doors or gates is provided. The locking system comprising a lock holding device with a bent piece for mounting of a locking rod behind the door and a blocking element and a lock.
Tamper evident trailer lock
A cover for a handle of a cargo door to cover hasp elements and a lock. The cover includes a first housing with a first front wall, first side walls each having a front and rear edge, and a top end wall and define a first housing interior. A guide leg and a latch is disposed on the first housing. A second housing includes a second front wall, second side walls, and a bottom end wall that define a second housing interior. The second housing includes a guide socket configured to receive the guide leg and a catch configured to receive and retain the latch. The housing interiors define a cover interior that covers the hasp elements and an installed lock with one of the guide leg and the latch disposed behind the handle and the other of the guide leg and the latch disposed in front of the handle.
BUCKLE
A buckle comprising a male coupler including a bar portion with an external surface, a first flange protruding from the external surface, the first flange being adapted for connection of a strap thereto; a female coupler with a hollow body having an opening therein, the opening including an end part at a first axial end of the hollow body and a slot part extending generally axially from the end part of the opening, the slot part having opposing lips extending along the slot, the hollow body having an internal surface complementary to the external surface of the bar portion; a detent for releasably holding the bar portion in the hollow body; and wherein the lips extend reentrantly and each lip is adjacent a respective inwardly-extending face in the bar portion.
Zipper padlock with a dual locking system
A zipper lock has a combination locking system defined by dials and clutches and a key overriding mechanism. The lock has a pole to receive zipper pullers and a movable cover plate to block the pole when the lock is in the locked mode. The lock has a control plate with release slots. The control plate can be shifted only if the dials are set to the correct combination or when a correct key is used to turn a tumbler cylinder. The cover plate is engaged with a latch having a latch finger. When the lock is in the locked mode, the latch finger is blocked by the control plate, restricting movement of the latch. When the lock is in the unlocked mode, the latch finger can be moved into a release slot, allowing the latch and cover plate to move in order to clear the pole.
Lock Device for Self Latching-Coupler
A coupler lock device is configured for use with a self-latching trailer coupler securing a hitch ball in the coupler socket. The coupler lock device has a housing that includes a top panel portion defining a cavity configured so that, when the housing is secured in position over the trailer coupler, the housing top panel prevents seating of the hitch ball in the coupler socket by restricting upward movement of the release lever when an attempt is made to insert the hitch ball into the coupler socket. Also, when the housing is secured in position over the trailer coupler with a hitch ball seated in the coupler socket, the housing top panel prevents removal of the coupler socket from the hitch ball by restricting upward movement of the release lever that would otherwise release the coupler socket from the hitch ball.
Accessory for a Trailer Hitch System
An accessory (200) comprising a collar and a cable (214), providing for secure attachment of a trailer to a tow hitch (19) of a towing vehicle. The collar comprises a first collar member (122) and a second collar member (124) which are in the form of plates which are hingedly connected at one end and releasably locked at an opposite end around a neck (20) of the tow hitch. The accessory includes a lock (236) for locking an end of the cable (214) to the collar members (122; 124) when the collar members (122; 124) are closed around the neck (20) of the tow hitch. Prior to locking the cable (214) to the collar members (122; 124), the cable (214) is passed through a handle formation (25) of trailer coupler (19) of the trailer such that after locking the cable (214) to the collar members (122; 124), the trailer is securely attached to the tow hitch.
KEYLESS LOCK SYSTEM
The present invention discloses a lock system, comprising a lock assembly that includes a hasp and an interlock mechanism detachably engaging with the hasp. Further included is a latch system that latches the interlock mechanism in a lock position.
Road freight transport security system
A road freight transport security system for a vehicle, is described, which comprises a database; and a portable electronic device running a security application. The security application is configured to prompt a user to carry out a plurality of external security checks of the vehicle, provide a facility for the user to confirm completion of those checks, provide a facility for the user to associate one or more photographs, taken by the portable electronic device, with one or more of the checks, and to upload log data to the database, the log data indicating at least a date and time of completion of the checks. A sensor device is also provided, mounted within a freight area of the vehicle, having one or more sensors, and being operable to communicate an alert to the portable electronic device in the event that an anomaly is detected inside the freight area. In this way, real time detection of security breaches within a freight trailer or container may be achieved. The driver is not required to engage directly with an intruder, and is facilitated in reporting the crime and demonstrating that appropriate precautions had been taken. Accordingly, driver safety may be improved and freight thefts and or losses via contamination reduced.
SECURITY SWING HANDLE ASSEMBLY
A security swing handle comprises a housing and a handle pivotally mounted to the housing between a closed position and an open position. A locking insert is rotatably supported in the housing and operatively connected to a latch to actuate the latch to release the handle to an open position. A hasp assembly includes a hasp at the bottom of the housing and a plate member disposed within an interior of the housing adjacent to a bottom of the latch. A pin on the locking insert is disposed within an aperture of the plate member to move the plate member against the latch to release the handle to the open position when the locking insert is rotated. If a padlock locked to the hasp is subjected to blunt force, edges of the aperture shear the pin from the locking insert disabling the locking insert.
CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED LOCKING SYSTEM
A locking system for a storage container provides a reliable and durable means of locking the lid in the closed position with a limited number of moving parts while providing resistance to tampering and theft.
