A lock assembly for a bicycle may comprise a shackle and a lock body. The shackle may have first and second end portions, and a central portion. The shackle may include a cable disposed in a cushioning sleeve extending between the first and second end portions. A resilient member may be disposed on or included in the central portion of the shackle. The first end portion may include a locking member, and the second end portion may be connected to the lock body. The lock assembly may be operable between stowed position corresponding to the shackle and a portion of the lock assembly contained within a bore of a handlebar of the bicycle, and a removed position corresponding to the lock assembly removed from the bore.

A retractable cable locking device for securing articles with retractable cables includes a housing that has a front, a back, a first side, a second side, a top and a bottom defining an internal space. Shafts, rotationally coupled to and extending between the front and the back, are positioned in the internal space. Cables are extendable from and retractable into the housing through holes positioned in the first side. Each of the cables has a first end coupled to one of the shafts and a second end coupled to a locking hub. Ports, which are complimentary to the locking hubs, and a key lock, which is operationally coupled to the ports, are positioned in the second side. A speaker, a processor and a power module are coupled to and positioned in the housing. The processor is operationally coupled to the power module, the speaker and the key lock.

A retention patio leash for outdoor furniture includes a housing having a first end and an opposite second end. The housing includes a first collar disposed at the first end and a second collar disposed at the second end. The first and second collars defining a through opening configured to receive at least a portion of the outdoor furniture. An intermediate disc body is disposed between the first collar and the second collar, the intermediate disc body defining an internal cavity and a plurality of slots defined on a sidewall. A retention system is supported within the intermediate disc body and includes one or more retractable straps and a fastener coupled to a free end of each of the one or more retractable straps. An enhanced spider wrap security device is described. This device integrates a wrapping cable section, a top cap, and a bottom cap. The cable wraps around products, preventing removal. The integrated cable lock, located in the bottom cap, secures the spider wrap to fixtures or other spider wraps. The locking mechanism includes a magnetic component and requires a special tool, such as a key, for unlocking. The design allows flexibility in positioning the cable lock on either the top or bottom cap.

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to security systems for securing an item of merchandise from theft or unauthorized removal. For example, the security system may include a sensor configured to be coupled to the item of merchandise, wherein the sensor includes an electrical connector. The security system also includes a base configured to removably support the sensor thereon, wherein the base includes an electronics module having a connector. The connector of the sensor and the connector of the electronics module are configured to electrically connect with one another when the sensor is supported on the base, and the sensor is configured to detect unauthorized removal of the item of merchandise from the sensor.

A linear retractable cable lock comprises a retractable cable lock that is presented in a linear configuration, adapted for mounting, for example in a recreational vehicle bumper, to a vehicle frame, in a truck bed. A recoil security apparatus comprises a body extending along a body axis and comprising an inner surface. The inner surface defines a plurality of surface features and surrounds a shaft extending along the body axis. A first holder is supported by the body and a second holder supported by the body. A securing member comprises an outer surface and is configured to traverse the shaft and engage the plurality of surface features. The securing member connects to the first holder at a first end and to the second holder at a second end. Rotation of the securing member in a first direction causes one of the first holder and the second holder to move in a direction away from the body. Alternatively, rotation of the securing member in a second direction causes one of the first holder and the second holder to move in a direction toward the body.

An anti-theft device 12 for a personal care item 14 comprises an elastomeric pad 16 attachable to the personal care item 14, a security cord 18 and a mounting tool 20 for mounting the anti-theft device 12 to a wall or other fixed object. The security cord 18 has a first end 22 and a second end 24, the first end 22 being attachable to the elastomeric pad 16, and the second end 24 being attached to the mounting tool 20. A kit 10 comprises such anti-theft device 12 and a personal care item 14.
