Novel Lockable Security Receptacle for Delivered Packages
Disclosed is a lockable security receptacle for the safe temporary storage of delivered articles to a home or office. The receptacle comprises of a bag having single opening through which the articles can be placed, a lock to secure the articles within the bag, means to securely but removably attach the bag to the inside of the home or office door and a cable connecting the bag to the attachment means. The bag can comprise a water-resistant, ballistic grade fabric of interwoven conductive fibers for protection and security of the delivered article, and can be made with one or more alarms that are triggered if the bag is cut, if the bag is pulled or if the attachment means is pulled.
Method and system for locking and unlocking
Aspects of the invention are directed towards a system and a method for locking an item. The item is locked in a housing comprising cavity for receiving the item. The housing comprises an electronic circuit for receiving a command from a user terminal to lock or unlock an item in the cavity of the housing. A motor resides in the housing which is actuated by the electronic circuit based on the command received from the user terminal. The housing further comprises a housing lock to lock or unlock the item on actuation of the motor.
Sharing video footage from audio/video recording and communication devices for parcel theft deterrence
Systems and methods for communicating in a network using parcel theft share signals in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, an audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device comprises: a camera configured to capture first image data of a drop-off zone; a communication module; and a processing module comprising: a processor; and a parcel theft deterrence application that configures the processor to: monitor a parcel in the drop-off zone, wherein the parcel is associated with parcel tracking data; determine that the parcel has been removed from the drop-off zone; generate a parcel theft share signal using the first image data and the parcel tracking data, wherein the parcel theft share signal includes a command to share the first image data with a network of users; and transmit the parcel theft share signal to the backend server using the communication module.

Apparatus, systems, and methods disclosed herein include apparatus, systems, and methods for securing the information contained on information discs, such as CD's, DVD's, Blu-Ray discs, or any optical media used for carrying information. The apparatus includes a security device that prevents unauthorized users from accessing the protected disc, discs, or spindle. The apparatus is such that any unauthorized attempts to unlock the locking device will result in damage to the disc, making it unreadable and/or unrenderable. The security device may be part of a system that also includes a network and a remote authentication server. Authentication data is transmitted over the network between the security device and the remote authentication server. The authentication data is then used to determine whether or not to unlock the security device.

The combination of a candle and a security assembly. The candle has a case, bounding a receptacle for a supply of wax, with a main body and a neck. The neck defines an opening into the receptacle. The case defines a shoulder facing in a first direction. The security assembly is configured to be placed in first and second different states. The security assembly in the first state is configured to be directed through the neck generally in the first direction up to and past the shoulder into a securing position. The security assembly in the first state and securing position is changeable into the second state wherein the security assembly is blocked by the shoulder from being moved generally oppositely to the first direction through the neck to be separated from the case. The security assembly in its second state is configured to accommodate an accessible portion of an embedded wick.

Merchandise anti-theft apparatus with adjustable locking arms
An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. The anti-theft device includes a plurality of arms slidingly disposed within the housing. Grips are disposed on proximal ends of the arms and are configured to receive and secure edges of an article of merchandise. A locking mechanism is disposed within the housing of the anti-theft device. The locking mechanism involves an actuator that presses a locking component to engage at least one of the arms. The arms have a first set of teeth disposed thereon, such that, when the locking component engages at least one of the arms, the first set of teeth interlocks with a second set of teeth. The arms cannot slide relative to the housing while the first set of teeth and the second set of teeth remain interlocked.

A package for a product, a key retention system, and a retaining key utilize a closed relief slot in the retaining key to enable flexure of a retaining car on the retaining key during movement of the retaining key between locked and released configurations.
