PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL LOCKOUT SYSTEM AND CALIBRATION METHOD
20240376751 · 2024-11-14 ·

A pressure differential lockout system for a door separating first and second regions comprises a piston assembly, a follower linkage, and a fluid conduit. The follower linkage is mechanically coupled with a latch release handle of the door. The piston assembly includes a piston and a piston housing collectively defining an interior chamber. The fluid conduit provides fluid communication between the first region and the interior chamber. The piston is translatable along a translation axis relative to the piston housing responsive to a pressure differential between the interior chamber and the second region. The piston defines a channel that is parallel to the translation axis and that accommodates a follower component of the follower linkage. The channel inhibits rotation of the follower linkage within a first translation range of the piston and enables rotation of the follower linkage within a second translation range of the piston.

VEHICULAR DOOR LATCH DEVICE
20180094460 · 2018-04-05 ·

A vehicular door latch device includes a latch, a ratchet, a locking and unlocking mechanism, and a rotation member. The latch rotates in accordance with closing of a door while a striker provided in a vehicle body is engaged. When the door is in a fully-closed state, the ratchet holds the latch in a first posture. When the door is in a half-closed state, the ratchet holds the latch in a second posture. The mechanism is switched between an unlocked posture that can cancel interlock, and a locked posture that cannot cancel the interlock. When the latch is in the second posture, the rotation member overlaps the switching route and prohibits the posture change. When coming into contact with the rotation member overlapping the switching route, the mechanism in the unlocked posture is switched to the unlocked posture by rotation of a portion thereof in contact with the rotation member.

VEHICLE DOOR OPERATING DEVICE

A vehicle door operating device includes an opening inside lever connected to an inside handle in a door inside a vehicle, a childproof lock lever that moves between a childproof unlock position and a childproof lock position; a switch lever, a childproof sensor and a single engagement pin. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof lock position, opening action of the inside handle cannot be transmitted to a door latch device, but can be transmitted to the switch lever. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof unlock position, releasing action of the opening inside lever can be transmitted to door latch devices for holding a door closed via a single engagement pin, but cannot be transmitted to the switch lever. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof lock position, the releasing action of the opening inside lever cannot be transmitted to the door latch device via the engagement pin, but can be transmitted to the switch lever.

ELECTRONIC INTERIOR DOOR RELEASE SYSTEM

A powered door latch may be actuated by a capacitive sensor or by movement of a mechanical release device. A controller may be utilized to prevent unlatching of the powered latch unless the vehicle is in Park and/or certain operating conditions are present.

Safety assembly for preventing opening of a vehicle lock under predefined vehicle conditions

The disclosure relates to a safety assembly for preventing the opening of a trunk lock under predefined vehicle conditions, having a transmission element which is engaged by an interior-side actuating element and a trunk-side actuating element and which is coupled to a trunk lock, wherein a latch is provided which is adjustable between an actuating position, in which an actuating force can be transmitted from at least one of the actuating elements to the trunk lock, and a blocking position, in which an actuating force is not transmitted to the trunk lock, the latch having a gearing and a brushless electric motor associated with it, by means of which the latch can be transferred between the actuating position and the blocking position. The disclosure further relates to a method of controlling a latch of a safety assembly.

Child protector mechanism

A child protector mechanism includes a base member, a first lever, a second lever, a bush arranged between the first lever and the second lever, a child protector lever for moving the bush to an unset position or a set position, and a position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. The bush is retained at each of the unset position and the set position by the position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. Therefore, when assembling the bush and the first lever to the base member, the bush is retained at a predetermined position (for example, unset position) with respect to the first lever so that the bush does not move. Thus, the easiness of assembly of the bush and the first lever and the easiness of assembly of the child protector lever are excellent.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING ALERTS REGARDING ENGAGEMENT OF AN EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR OF AN AIRCRAFT

An aircraft includes a system including an emergency exit door within the internal cabin. The emergency exit door includes a lever configured to be engaged to open the emergency exit door. A first cover is removably secured to the emergency exit door. The first cover is configured to be removed to gain access to the lever. A second cover is disposed between the lever and the first cover. The second cover is configured to be removed to gain access to the lever. One or more sensors are configured to detect positions of the first cover and the second cover.

Control device

A control device according to the present disclosure is to provide greater safety than in the conventional system for the occupant while alighting from the vehicle. A control device 10 is mounted on a vehicle 1. The control device 10 includes an attention degree estimation unit 11 and an alighting restriction unit 12. Based on at least one of results detected by an occupant sensor 3 for detecting motion of an occupant of the vehicle 1 and detected by a vehicle sensor 4 for detecting a state of the vehicle 1, the attention degree estimation unit 11 estimates a degree of attention of the occupant to an approaching object approaching the vehicle 1. When the degree of attention of the occupant estimated by the attention degree estimation unit 11 is below the predetermined threshold, the alighting restriction unit 12 causes at least one of the door opening/closing device 6, the audio output device 7, and the image display device 8 in the vehicle 1 to execute the alighting restriction operation.
