Motor vehicle lock
The aim of the invention is to provide a lock for a motor vehicle, whereby the accidental opening of said lock is prevented. To achieve this aim, a lock comprises a locking mechanism with a rotary latch and a locking pawl for arresting the rotary latch in a latch position. In order to open the lock with minimum effort, an electric drive (1) is provided by means of which drive the locking pawl can be moved directly or indirectly out of its locking position. The lock is further provided with a movable blocking pawl (2), which can impede the electric drive (1) from opening the lock. For the locking mechanism to be electrically opened, the blocking pawl (2) needs to be moved out of its blocking position and the electric drive (1) needs be to actuated.
Locking unit for a vehicle seat, and vehicle seat
A locking unit (10), for a vehicle seat (1), includes a locking pawl (80) which is mounted so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position and which has a retention contour (27) for securing a locking bolt (12) in the closed position. At least one claw (90, 91, 92), offset in the axial direction with respect to the locking pawl (80), is mounted so as to be pivotable about the same pivot axis. The claw (90, 91, 92) has a closure contour (25). The locking pawl (80) can be pivoted from the open position to the closed position by the closure contour (25) being acted upon by the locking bolt (12).

Motor vehicle door lock
A method of forming a motor vehicle door lock includes arranging a lever, providing an electric drive that pivots the lever to place the motor vehicle door lock in an open state and includes a motor and a wheel gear that is driven by the motor and has a circumferential face, forming at least one damping stop on the wheel gear that protrudes axially from the circumferential face of the wheel gear and extends from the circumferential face toward a stop plane that is spaced from and parallel to an actuating plane in which the wheel gear and the lever are rotatable, providing a housing stop surface that is engageable by the damping stop along the stop plane in a rotational direction of the wheel gear, and forming the damping stop and the wheel gear as a single piece using a two-component injection molding process.

MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR LOCK
A motor vehicle door lock which is equipped with a locking mechanism substantially comprising a catch and pawl. Furthermore, a locking pin is provided for interaction with the locking mechanism. Furthermore, there is a damping element for a locking mechanism component and/or the locking pin. Finally, the configuration includes at least one spring which is assigned to the locking mechanism. According to the invention, the spring at least partially abuts the damping element.
