Pressure-Venting Container
20170065046 · 2017-03-09 ·

A system for releasing a contained volume of gas. The system has a base with a pressure-release vent positioned within a flex region and a seal to disengagably seal the pressure-release vent. The seal has a gas vent path that extends from the pressure-release vent. The contained volume of gas passes through the gas vent path to apply force against the flex region and disengage the seal from the pressure-release vent, allowing the gas to exit through the pressure-release vent.

CONTACT LENS CLEANING CASE

A contact lens cleaning apparatus for cleaning contact lenses outside of a user's hands includes a housing containing a pair of motors. A pair of fluid permeable containers are positioned outside of the housing and are attached to respective motors via shafts. The motors are operable to rotate the shafts, thus rotating the fluid permeable containers.

Contact Lens Case with Predetermined Life Span for Safety

A contact lens storage case of limited life and predetermined usage to further the safe and effective use of contact lenses by ensuring patient compliance through both limiting case use over a set period of time and discouraging reuse and topping-off of the disinfecting and storage solution. Generally, the self-destruction consists of the case developing a leak in a pre-determined fashion as a result of the change in properties of a material in a limited area of the case following exposure of the case to the storage solution.

Pressure-venting container for disinfection and storage of contact lenses
09532632 · 2017-01-03 · ·

A lens care container comprising a container cup and a cap that is removably attachable to the container cup to cover an opening in the container cup. The cap includes a top panel and a coupling hub. The top panel includes a pressure-release vent positioned within a deflection region. The coupling hub defines an interior gas vent path. A volume of gas generated from cleaning solution within the cup passes into the interior gas vent path to disengage a lens holder seal from a cap pressure-release vent, allowing the gas to exit through the cap pressure-release vent.

AUTOMATIC CONTACT LENS CARE DEVICE

The present disclosure discloses an automatic contact lens care device, including a cover body, a base body, a washing assembly, a driving mechanism, and at least one storage device. The base body has an inner cavity and an opening communicating with the inner cavity. The cover body is arranged on the opening side of the base body. The washing assembly includes a first brush head and a second brush head. The first brush head is arranged on a side of the cover body facing the base body. The second brush head is arranged in the inner cavity. The first brush head and the second brush head are made of a soft material. The first brush head and the second brush head are correspondingly arranged in a matched manner. A contact lens can be placed between the first brush head and the second brush head.
