Vehicle anti-theft device
An anti-theft device 10 is operatively connected to a vehicle drivetrain, downstream of a power plant. To this end, a gear 12 is mounted for rotation together with a driveshaft 13. The device 10 further includes a pivotally mounted locking pawl 17 which is movable relative to the gear 12 between an open position in which a profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 is spaced away from a periphery of the gear 12 such that the gear 12 is permitted to rotate freely together with the driveshaft 13, and a locked position, in which the profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 engages the gear 12 and prevents rotation thereof, thereby locking the driveshaft 13 in position. The device includes an actuator 23 and ECU 22 in a tamper-proof casing 27. The ECU controls engagement of the pawl depending upon a position of a handbrake and ignition switch.

VEHICLE DOOR LATCH DEVICE
A vehicle door latch device includes: a body including a striker advancing groove; a cover plate including: a striker advancing groove; and a bent portion at a side portion opposite to an inlet of the striker advancing groove and bent substantially perpendicularly towards the body; at least one female screw hole provided closer to a side end portion of the cover plate, the side end portion opposite to the bent portion, at any one of both sides sandwiching the striker advancing groove; at least two female screw holes provided separately from each other in a direction in which the striker advances, at the other one of the both sides sandwiching the same striker advancing groove; and at least two positioning holes for positioning the cover plate are respectively provided near the one female screw hole and between the two female screw holes in the cover plate.

Compressible latch bracket
A multi-function bracket may include an elongated guide member that defines a slot that is configured to guide a window pane, a handle-chassis bracket extending from the elongated guide member, a slider including a first portion and a second portion, configured to receive a handle chassis, and a compressible member. The compressible member may be coupled to the second portion of the slider and have a compressed state and an uncompressed state. The slider may be configured to translate towards the handle chassis bracket when the compressible member changes from the uncompressed state to the compressed state.

Remotely activated vehicle anti-theft device
A remotely activated vehicle anti-theft device 10 and system 50 for preventing vehicle theft is provided. The device 10 is moved between unlocked, locked and priority locked states using either a wireless vehicle remote 51 or a mobile phone 52. The mobile phone 52 enjoys priority over the remote control 51 and overrides it when the device is in its priority locked state. It includes a pivotal locking member 17 which is movable between an open position (unlocked state) in which the member is spaced away from a gear 12, permitting it to rotate freely, and a locked position (locked and priority locked states), in which the member 17 engages the gear 12 and prevents rotation thereof, thereby immobilising a vehicle. The device 10 includes an ECU 22, wireless communication module 34, actuator 23, GPS 6 and speed sensor 7 housed in a tamper-proof casing 27.
Locking unit for a vehicle seat, and vehicle seat
A locking unit (10) for a vehicle seat (1) includes a housing with a side plate (16) which has at least one first mounting aperture (17), and/or with a cover plate (18) which has at least one second mounting aperture (19), and at least one mounting stud (51, 52). The first mounting aperture (17) and/or the second mounting aperture (19) are designed so that the mounting stud (51, 52) can be placed in at least two different positions in the first mounting aperture (17) and/or in the second mounting aperture (19).
