INSIDE OVERRIDE EMERGENCY HANDLE FOR DOOR RELEASE
A motor vehicle emergency handle door release comprises a housing having a pair of opposed walls and one of a pair of opposed pivot bosses disposed on an interior surface of each of the opposed walls. A pivotable handle comprises a pivot mount, a lever disposed on one side of the pivot mount, and a door latch release cable end fitting disposed on another side of the pivot mount. The pivot mount includes a pair of opposed pivots extending laterally from the pivot mount of the pivotable handle that are received within the pivot bosses disposed on the interior surface of each of the opposed walls. A spring having a first leg is disposed against a surface of the housing and a second leg is disposed against a surface of the pivotable handle, urging the pivotable handle to a stowed position.

VEHICLE REAR DOOR HANDLE
A vehicle rear door handle includes: a handle frame having an elongated bowl; a handle lever which is pivotably received in the bowl and supported by the handle frame, the handle lever being movable in rotation around a handle lever axis between a rest position and an opening position; and a kinematic lever coupled to the handle lever and rotatively mobile around a kinematic lever axis between a rest position and an active position. The kinematic lever has an attachment section for a Bowden cable and is configured to interact via the Bowden cable with a latch mechanism to unlatch the door. The kinematic lever axis is disposed between a free end of the handle frame and the elongated bowl and the attachment section for the Bowden cable is protruding such that the Bowden cable can be fixed beside the elongated bowl.
DOOR HAVING INTEGRATED OPENING AND CLOSING MECHANISMS
Door configurations having integrated mechanisms for opening and releasing for closure, with elements of these mechanisms located on or largely on the body of the door itself. In some embodiments of the disclosure, a door has a handle and two release mechanisms coupled thereto, one of which releases a lock and allows the door to open, and the other of which releases a catch and allows the door to close. The two release mechanisms are coupled to the handle such that manipulating the handle in one direction actuates one of the release mechanisms but not the other, and manipulating the handle in the other direction actuates the other release mechanism. In this manner, manipulating the handle in one direction opens the door, and manipulating the handle in the other direction closes the door.
Vehicle door cable abutment
A cable fitting includes a hollow cylinder sized to receive a portion of a sheath therein; and a lever including a blade supported on the cylinder; a pivot about which the blade pivots; an engagement member secured to the blade and spaced from the pivot in a first direction; and a tab secured to the blade and including a surface spaced from the pivot in a second direction opposite the first direction and on which force can be applied to elastically pivot the engagement member away from an engaged position.

Deployable hood release handle
A motor vehicle hood latch mechanism comprises a latch assembly including a primary latch and a secondary latch. The secondary latch restrains the hood in a released position subsequent movement of the primary latch to an unlocked position. The secondary latch secures a striker to restrain the hood in a released position and allows the hood to move to an open position upon manipulation. An improved secondary latch release handle comprises a secondary latch release handle arm having a retracted position and a deployed position outside of the motor vehicle, the secondary latch release handle arm extending longitudinally forward relative the motor vehicle in each of the retracted and deployed positions, wherein the secondary latch release handle arm is extended forward to the deployed position by purely translational motion upon movement of the primary latch to the unlocked position.

Linear cinching spindle
A linear drive assembly for use with a vehicle including a vehicle body and a closure. The linear drive assembly may include a stationary portion and a translating portion. The translating portion may include a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion may be configured to pivot and translate about a vehicle attachment member. The second end portion may be configured to pivot and translate about a closure attachment member and be coupled to a cable operatively coupled to an actuator. When the second end translates about the closure attachment member, the cable may be pulled to actuate the actuator.
