Vehicle anti-theft device

An anti-theft device 10 is operatively connected to a vehicle drivetrain, downstream of a power plant. To this end, a gear 12 is mounted for rotation together with a driveshaft 13. The device 10 further includes a pivotally mounted locking pawl 17 which is movable relative to the gear 12 between an open position in which a profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 is spaced away from a periphery of the gear 12 such that the gear 12 is permitted to rotate freely together with the driveshaft 13, and a locked position, in which the profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 engages the gear 12 and prevents rotation thereof, thereby locking the driveshaft 13 in position. The device includes an actuator 23 and ECU 22 in a tamper-proof casing 27. The ECU controls engagement of the pawl depending upon a position of a handbrake and ignition switch.

Remotely activated vehicle anti-theft device

A remotely activated vehicle anti-theft device 10 and system 50 for preventing vehicle theft is provided. The device 10 is moved between unlocked, locked and priority locked states using either a wireless vehicle remote 51 or a mobile phone 52. The mobile phone 52 enjoys priority over the remote control 51 and overrides it when the device is in its priority locked state. It includes a pivotal locking member 17 which is movable between an open position (unlocked state) in which the member is spaced away from a gear 12, permitting it to rotate freely, and a locked position (locked and priority locked states), in which the member 17 engages the gear 12 and prevents rotation thereof, thereby immobilising a vehicle. The device 10 includes an ECU 22, wireless communication module 34, actuator 23, GPS 6 and speed sensor 7 housed in a tamper-proof casing 27.

Lid lock device

A lid lock device includes: a housing including a first housing and a second housing assembled to the first housing and fixed to a vehicle; a lock member movably supported by one or both of the first and second housings and moving between a lock position and a lock releasing position; a surrounding sidewall protruding toward the second housing from the first housing and surrounding a surface of the first housing; a support hole provided in a front side portion of the first housing; a passage port provided in a portion of the surrounding sidewall; a blocking portion protruding toward the first housing from the second housing and blocking the passage port; and an overlapping portion formed in an opening edge of the passage port and overlapping an outer surface of an edge portion of the blocking portion.

Securing device with a front hood and a bayonet-type closure system

The invention relates to a securing device (1), which has a front hood (2) and a hood lock (3) with a lock holder (10), for a motor vehicle. The hood lock (3) has a rotary latch (4) with a pre-latching position and a main latching position in which the front hood (2) is closed and locked, an electric drive (5) which switches the rotary latch (4) from the main latching position into the pre-latching position, and a bayonet-type closure system (13) with a closed position, a release position, and an intermediate position. In the closed position, the rotary latch (4) is located in the main latching position; in the intermediate position, the rotary latch (4) is located in the pre-latching position and the lock holder (10) is engaged with the rotary latch (4); and in the release position, the lock holder (10) is released by the rotary latch (4) and the front hood (2) is unlocked.

OPTIONAL ACTUATORIC DOOR OPENING SUPPORT FOR A VEHICLE

A vehicle door arrangement includes a first closing element arranged on a vehicle door and a second closing element arranged on a bodywork of the vehicle. The first and closing elements can be connected to each other in a positive looking manner to hold the door on the bodywork. A door handle is connected to a sensor for detecting a pressure input or a pulling input of a user on the door handle. The sensor is connected to a control unit, which controls a locking actuator and a door opening actuator. The locking actuator separates the first and second closing elements, and the door opening actuator opens the vehicle door relative to the bodywork. The control unit controls the locking actuator to separate the first closing element and the second closing element in response to a detected pressure input or pulling input, and to control the door opening actuator to open the door relative to the bodywork.

RATCHET UNIT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE FLAPS OR MOTOR VEHICLE DOORS

A ratchet unit for motor vehicle flaps or motor vehicle doors, in particular motor vehicle rear doors, preferably motor vehicle rear sliding doors, which are equipped with an electromotive drive and a ratchet lever which can be acted on by the drive. The ratchet lever is set up to lock and open the motor vehicle flap. According to the invention, the ratchet lever continuously adopts its closed position and is only moved into its open position with the aid of the drive to open the motor vehicle flap. The ratchet lever in its closed position is deflected resiliently when the motor vehicle flap is closed.

Motor vehicle lock

A motor vehicle lock has a pawl and a catch that may be moved into an open position, a preliminary latching position and a main latching position. In one latching position, that catch is or may be brought into holding engagement with a lock striker. During a cinching routine, the catch is moved into its main latching position by a cinching drive. An overload clutch with two clutch elements is provided in the drive train between the cinching drive and the catch. The clutch elements are in engagement with each other for the transmission of cinching forces. The engagement is load dependent in a beginning section of the cinching routine, such that the engagement, and thereby the overload clutch, is disconnected in reaction to exceeding a predefined limit load in the drive train. The engagement is load independent in the remaining, subsequent section of the cinching routine.
