Method for operating an opening mechanism
Various embodiments provide a method for operating an opening mechanism which serves for the opening of a motor vehicle lock, wherein the opening mechanism is formed separately from the motor vehicle lock and, for the opening, is coupled mechanically to the motor vehicle lock, wherein the opening mechanism is assigned a control arrangement, a switchable coupling arrangement, an actuating lever and an electric drive arrangement. It is proposed that the overall pivoting region of the actuating lever starting from the starting position comprises a first pivoting region and a second pivoting region following the latter, wherein the motorized opening operation can be triggered by means of the drive arrangement by means of an actuating stroke over the first pivoting region.
Electronic door latching system for preventing lock-out during an electrical power loss
An electronic door latching assembly for a side door of a vehicle is disclosed and includes a retaining member and an actuator. The actuator is operably connected to the retaining member and moves the retaining member between a primary position and an unlatched position. The electronic door latching assembly also includes a control module in electrical communication with the actuator. The control module executes instructions to: receive as input a power signal indicating that a loss of electrical power in the vehicle is imminent. After receiving the power signal, the control module receives a door open signal indicating that a door of the vehicle is being opened. In response to receiving the door open signal, the control module commands the actuator to rotate the retaining member from the unlatched position to the primary position where the side door is unable to latch shut.
Power child lock operating device
A power child lock operating device may include a rotating drive device; a first operating lever which receives the torque of the rotating drive device to be rotated; a second operating lever connected to the first operating lever to be moved together; a third operating lever connected to a door catch to lock or unlock the door catch; an inside handle lever connected to an inside handle disposed at a door of a vehicle to be moved together; a fourth operating lever selectively connecting the inside handle lever and the third operating lever; and an elastic member pressurizing to the fourth operating lever so that the third operating lever may be connected to the inside handle lever, improving the operation reliability the power child lock device.
Vehicle side door latch apparatus
A compact vehicle side door latch apparatus has a latch that is rotated from an unlatched position to a fully-latched position, a ratchet that engages the latch in order to prevent the latch from being rotated in a releasing direction, a door opening link that is moved in a door opening direction in order to allow the ratchet to be disengaged from the latch, a motor that moves the door opening link in the door opening direction by motor power, and a door key lever that moves the door opening link in the door opening direction by an operation of a key plate. The door key lever is connected to the door opening link with play, and the motor power is transmitted to the door opening link without passing through disconnecting means of the power transmission path.
Driving apparatus and door lock
A drive apparatus includes a sun gear, a ring gear, a carrier which supports planetary gears, a drive source which drives the ring gear as an input element, and fixing mechanism which fixes selectively one output element of the sun gear as a first output element and the carrier as a second output element so as not to rotate, and driving force is outputted from the other output element which is other than the one output element of the sun gear and the carrier fixed by the fixing mechanism.
MOTOR VEHICLE LATCH ASSEMBLY WITH MANUAL RELEASE
A latch assembly for a vehicle closure includes a latch having a catch and a pawl, a clutch, and an electric actuator selectively connected to the latch by the clutch. The electric actuator is configured rotate the pawl out of blocking engagement with the catch to open the latch when the clutch is engaged. A manual release is configured to rotate the pawl out of blocking engage with the catch to open the latch when the clutch is disengaged.
LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LOCKING MECHANISM PROVIDING REMOTE CONTROL
A locking mechanism for luggage compartment doors of vehicles for operating a plurality of connection rods associated with auxiliary drivers includes: a main body; a rotary driver arranged to drive, in use, the plurality of connection rods; a handle body associated with a transmission element rigidly joined to the handle body to transmit displacement of the handle body to the rotary driver; and a longitudinal lock guide arranged to displace to selectively enable a retaining means associated with a guiding member bear against the transmission element's tip portion to drive the rotary driver. The locking mechanism comprises a remote actuation means which is arranged to move a portion of the rotary driver for a rotational movement of the rotary driver to operate the plurality of connection rods.
Integrated door presentment mechanism for a latch
A latch assembly for a closure panel of a vehicle, the latch assembly including: a housing; a ratchet and pawl pivotally coupled to the housing, the ratchet for interaction with a striker such that one of the latch assembly and the striker being mounted on the closure panel and the other of the latch assembly and the striker being mounted on a body of the vehicle; a presentment mechanism mounted to the housing having one or more presentment members, such that the one or more presentment members is driven for influencing a position of the ratchet during presentment of the striker out of a slot of the ratchet to a presentment position; and an actuator for engaging with the presentment mechanism to effect the driven of the one or more presentment members.
Motorized Vehicle Door Latch with Emergency Release
The present invention relates to a motorized door latch for a vehicle, particularly, relates to a motorized vehicle door latch with emergency release that is installed on a vehicle door, and can open the vehicle door, when necessary, using a motorized door latch, either electrically or mechanically, depending on the degree of pulling a hidden handle that is withdrawn, so that the vehicle door can be easily opened even if the electricity supply is cut off in an emergency.
Locking System and Method of Actuating a Locking System
The invention relates to a locking system (100) for a movable part (101), in particular a door or a lid, of a vehicle, comprising: a handle (10) fixed relative to the movable part (101) in a normal operation of the vehicle for opening or closing the movable part (101), a lock (20) for locking or unlocking the movable part (101), and an actuator (30) for actuating the lock (20). According to the invention, the actuator (30) can be arranged at a distance from the lock (20).
