A roll up door assembly is mountable in two tracks laterally spaced from one another, each track including a catch, the roll up door assembly including a door sized to be mountable and slidable along the tracks between a closed position and an opened position, the door being a roll up door including a plurality of slats extending between the tracks, one of the slats being a locking slat having an outer surface and an inner surface and defining a passage therethrough between the outer surface and the inner surface. A housing is attached to the outer surface of the locking slat, the housing defining an opening therethrough aligned with the passage. A key cylinder extends through the passage and the opening. A two-point latching assembly has two latches for selectively engaging the catches and is rotatably driven by a rear portion of the key cylinder adjacent the inner surface of the locking slat. A fixing member threadedly engages an outer surface of the key cylinder to secure the key cylinder to the housing, the fixing member being annular and being configured with the housing and the locking slat so that the fixing member has an axial length at least as long as a distance between an inner surface of the housing and the outer surface of the locking slat when the fixing member is positioned to secure the key cylinder to the housing.

A fixing member threadedly engages an outer surface of the key cylinder to secure the key cylinder to the housing, the fixing member being annular and being configured with the housing and the locking slat so that the fixing member has an axial length at least as long as a distance between an inner surface of the housing and the outer surface of the locking slat when the fixing member is positioned to secure the key cylinder to the housing.

A rolling door lock for a roll-up door, and more particularly a roll-up door that includes a latching handle assembly fitted to the exterior surface of a roll-up door. The latching handle assembly includes a handle and a hook. The rolling door lock attaches to the hook and handle of the latching handle assembly to prevent forced opening of the roll-up door. The rolling door lock includes a main body and a detachable bracket. The main body includes a hook securing portion and a pocket. The pocket includes a slot. During normal use the hook securing portion of the rolling door lock secures the hook of the latching handle assembly, and the detachable bracket secures the handle of the latching handle assembly. The lock mechanism locks the detachable bracket with the handle secured therein to the pocket.

A rolling door lock for a roll-up door, and more particularly a roll-up door that includes a latching handle assembly fitted to the exterior surface of a roll-up door. The latching handle assembly includes a handle and a hook. The rolling door lock attaches to the hook and handle of the latching handle assembly to prevent forced opening of the roll-up door. The rolling door lock includes a main body and a detachable bracket. The main body includes a hook securing portion and a pocket. The pocket includes a slot. During normal use the hook securing portion of the rolling door lock secures the hook of the latching handle assembly, and the detachable bracket secures the handle of the latching handle assembly. The lock mechanism locks the detachable bracket with the handle secured therein to the pocket.

A door guard for use with a latching handle assembly is disclosed. The door guard is configured to use the handle of the latching handle assembly in combination with components of the door guard to protect a pin that fits through a hole in the handle and into a lock of the door guard.

A door latch activator system for a trailer or truck body coupled to a door latch, including: a plunger installed in a path of the door latch; a switch configurable into one of an open or closed position by the plunger; and a pneumatic valve configured to control flow of pressurized air through the pneumatic valve depending on the position of the switch, wherein the plunger is moved toward or away from the roller switch by the door latch operating in the path, which activates the pneumatic valve to control the pressurized air flowing through the pneumatic valve.

A door latch activator system for a trailer or truck body coupled to a door latch, including: a plunger installed in a path of the door latch; a switch configurable into one of an open or closed position by the plunger; and a pneumatic valve configured to control flow of pressurized air through the pneumatic valve depending on the position of the switch, wherein the plunger is moved toward or away from the roller switch by the door latch operating in the path, which activates the pneumatic valve to control the pressurized air flowing through the pneumatic valve.

An isolation lock mechanism for a transit vehicle door includes a lock bracket configured to be connected to the transit vehicle door; a lock pin configured to be moved between an engaged position in which the lock pin is extended to engage the lock bracket and a disengaged position in which the lock pin is withdrawn from the lock bracket; and a linkage assembly connected to the lock pin and configured to be actuated to move the lock pin between the engaged position and the disengaged position. The linkage assembly is configured to be connected to an emergency release device such that operation of the emergency release device to unlock the transit vehicle door also actuates the linkage assembly to move the lock pin from the engaged position to the disengaged position.

An isolation lock mechanism for a transit vehicle door includes a lock bracket configured to be connected to the transit vehicle door; a lock pin configured to be moved between an engaged position in which the lock pin is extended to engage the lock bracket and a disengaged position in which the lock pin is withdrawn from the lock bracket; and a linkage assembly connected to the lock pin and configured to be actuated to move the lock pin between the engaged position and the disengaged position. The linkage assembly is configured to be connected to an emergency release device such that operation of the emergency release device to unlock the transit vehicle door also actuates the linkage assembly to move the lock pin from the engaged position to the disengaged position.
