LATCH STYLE LOCK THAT SECURES ROLLING CARGO DOOR
A latch style lock assembly is adapted to secure a space enclosed by a roll up door. The lock assembly includes a striker adapted to be attached to the door, and a lock. The lock includes a catch pivotally mounted on a frame plate and movable between a striker accept position and a striker received position, the lock being adapted to be positioned where the catch can receive and hold the striker. A pawl is pivotally mounted on the frame plate and movable between a catch release position and a catch lock position. The lock also includes an actuator bracket extending from an actuator, the actuator bracket is movable to engage the pawl and move the pawl.
Lock mechanism assembly for vehicle tailgate
A check strap assembly for a pickup truck tailgate may include a truck bed, a tailgate, and opposing side panels. The tailgate is mounted to the truck bed for pivotal movement. The opposing side panels are secured to the truck bed to partially define a truck box when the tailgate is in a closed position. The check strap assembly includes a member extending from a D-pillar of the truck box to the tailgate and a lock mechanism having a component with an overhang to prevent access to a fastener securing the member to the D-pillar or the tailgate. The D-pillar may include a flange defining an aperture and the member may be a rod having a first end sized for extending through the aperture and a second end with a striker for engagement with a latch mechanism of the tailgate.
Door for a vehicle provided with an improved security system
A door for an aircraft is configured to be selectively closed on a frame. The door includes a safety system for an anchoring element. The safety system includes a source of light radiations and a receptor of said radiations, the source being integral with the door and the receptor being integral with the anchoring element. The receptor is optically connected to signalling apparatus that signals the positioning of the anchoring element in the second operating condition when the receptor receives the light radiation from the source.
Automated door system
Methods and systems are provided for an automated door system for a vehicle. In one example, the automated door system may include a key fob configured with a transmitter. A set of sensors may be located at a door of the vehicle which may be communicatively linked to a vehicle control unit. A position of the key fob relative to the door may be monitored by the set of sensors to provide hands-free actuation of the door motor.

Shielded Lock Hasp for Vehicle Door
Locking hasp brackets for a vehicle door are secured to the vehicle by the fasteners that secure the latch and strike for the door and extend through the crack at the edge of the door when the door is shut to a tab that projects beyond the outer side of the vehicle. A base wall is fixed to the tab in a lateral plane that is parallel to the axes of the fastener holes for the fasteners that secure the brackets and closely adjacent to the outside of the vehicle, and side walls extend from the periphery of the base wall so as to at least partially enclose the sides of the tab and create a protected space within which a puck lock or padlock resides that secures the tabs of the two brackets to one another.
